After our Sunday brunch here at the Westin, we set out to follow the 'simple' instructions of our hotel concierge. We wished to visit the Lake Gardens, a Golden Gate park of sorts, right here in the midst of this very urban capital. The park houses the Islamic Museum, a lake, butterfly, orchid and bird garden, all of which are touted as the "largest" in the world. For that matter, everything here is touted as the largest, the tallest, the most this, and the most that. In Kuala Lampur, on all the major avenues, traffic can simulataneously appear to be going in six different directions, all at the same time.
