I travelled to China with Global Crossroad on a paid teaching program. My experience with Global Crossroad was pretty good. They were very informative during the application process and answered pretty much what I had inquired about. I had anxieties about getting cultural shock and things like that, but when I reached Shanghai, the representative was a pretty cool person and I really enjoyed his company. The school in a village near Shanghai wasn’t that bad either. The head teacher spoke pretty good English; there were others who spoke little bit also. I enjoyed the students. Wasn’t what we were like back home. They were always smiling and when I’d asked them to concentrate, that’s what they did, Obedient kids!! I travelled around a lot and met many pretty Chinese girls.
