video-comment 2 Cracked it. Wonderful to see the video. Jemima sounds like a very well spoken young lady. Not surprised that you have included shots taken inside a Chinese toilet. dad
Video Unfortunately the adventures of Rob and Jemima will have to wait for another day. All that it showed unfortunately was the title page. I will have a mess to see if I can bring up the picture.

You shut up! The roasted chestnuts or conkers or whatever are super great, they are some of the most popular snacks in China! If you dont like them, go back to your British Empire!
What in God's name were you doing google searching normal distribution in the first place to stumble across this information?! Keep up the sleezy posts about your students. See how long you can keep your job for!

bell curves I was going to say, "every town/country has its bad peopl", but I felt it was too much of a cliche. I therefore said, "all populations fall along a bell curve", which effectivly means the same thing. In Wuhan, as everywhere in the world, there are good people, bad people and then people in the middle. I don't know this to a scientific standard of knowledge but it is also probable that, as with most human traits, there are a small number of idiots, a small number of exceptional people, and then most other people come somewhere in between. When this is drawn on a graph it makes a the shape of a bell, which is where the name comes from. Google search "normal distribution" if you want to know more.
New Phrase Rob
Sorry I have not responded earlier to your mails but I have been rather busy with one thing and another. I will respond at length probably tomorrow but I was intrigued at your use of the phrase ' all populations fall along a bell curve' Is it American? What does it mean? Is it off television? It sounds very impressive-in fact I think I wil throw it in to my next meeting.

Hello Rob :)
Autosave works enough of the time to make it worth having. It is not however designed to replace backing up your data. With all editors including the TravelBlog one, you should ALWAYS back up frequently while typing a lengthy doccuments. Otherwise you risk losing your data.

dadtalk Rob That was a brilliant first piece of correspondence from you. I will not point out your grammatical or spelling errors because we are in the age of predictive text etc but that should not equate to lower standards. I may be critical but that is only because I would be failing in my duties as a parent if I did not push you to perfection. I will take Grandad through your blog but he is still in the 15th century and has the attention span of a dinosaur. Ever since you flew out he has asked me 20,000 times , " Has Rob got there yet?" I am really proud of the fact that , you , of all his grandchildren , has a real sense of family and geneology . I have no favourites and do not force you down any given path but I am proud of your intelligence and humility.
I have a busy week and will spend most of my time in London with some BT senior management ( at their request ) which is quite nice as they are the 8th largest single employer of people in the UK. having said that keep your eyes open for any jobs in China looking for Senior Managers with experience of international trade and logistics. I'm the man !
