Do this! Wyant, go climb the Grand Teton, Owen-Spalding route, very easy. May want to find some sort of climbing fellow to help you up it, a little technical at the last few pitches but well with in your phyisical means. It will add to your adentures. :)
I seem to have heard the story of a person running around town and everyone following/ cheering along- oh yeah, it was in Rocky I. Hope you are enjoying yourself- see you in two weeks!!
"Yikes, two weeks" said Peter, "it is too soon Auntie Am, I want to keep living in this wonderful world of Oz." Tapping red shiny running shoes together, he says "There is no place like not home, there is no place like not home."
City is HOT! Peter, I took a break from the blog for a week or two... Great to see these photos... Feel free to use Facebook to add some of your additional photos... Greg and I decided to reschedule our mile race for this week, if you can't make it we'll just mark you down for 9:30, cool?
Everyone gets to go to South East Asia but me. I love the picture, so jealous, its been ages since I saw a tree even nearly that big! Hope you are enjoying the jungles, and cities, the heat and wats, and all that good stuff.
I dont know where you are right now, ,and when exactly you are coming back, you know me, no memory for numbers. But just in case you will be in Singapor later this week, my brother and Lotte will be too (visiting her parents over easter). It seems everyone but me gets to go to South East Asia! Perhaps I will get to read about it for a class one of these days? =
Talk to you later,
Hilde
Hello--Peter--are you alive???
It is hard to say that no news is good news when your friend is traveling on the opposite side of the world. Then again, maybe you decided to devote yourself to strict asceticism removing yourself from cultural ties in order to develop insight into the true nature of the human condition, in which case your silence is deafening. namaste
Food I still don't know what kind of food you've been eating, but it's obviously enough or you wouldn"t be able to keep having the kind of experiences ypu are. Go Peter.
More Steam Let's get more details on that stuff Greg is talking about... Do we need a seperate log-in to access the trashy stuff? What happened to those Aussie tourists you kept mentioning?
Oddly enough, I have received word from one of my messengers that the goddess sweat is gathered during the noon hours from Malaysian women (but that they are really hotttttt).
Leave it to those damn Brits to proclaim that a Fort has never been breached when it has not been attacked. Likewise, I have never been conquered by an army. Ah ha, I am invincible....the gods bow down to my splendid human form and bath me with the perspiration of beautiful women.
Holy, you-know-what Sounds like you are having a great time. Thanks for dropping me a note. Try not to fall into any ravine's. Just a bit of wisdom for you! Have a great time and experience as much as you can.
Spelunking? I thought Greg was the...um... Spelunker...were you not the, ah, pirate?
p.s.-if ever in cave with many bats, just scream real loud to see what happens!
Hey Pete, love living vicariously thru your adventures, but why was there a marching band in the middle of a jungle hike? It doesn't make sense to me, but I'm not Malaysian. P.S. Kari says that she would prefer if you not label everything by that foolish metric system- hello, we're americans, we like everything by the foot.
