Thank you for the Chinese names The Chinese names really help me to follow you trips. Without the names, I don't have a clue where have been and where you are going.
Reading your travel log make me feel I am there with you. Keep them coming!
travel bug Uncle Gary and Aunt Phyllis, Last year was the first time I went to China to visit my dad's village. And I don't think I was as daring as you to try all these things. Growing up in the U.S. has really spoiled me. Thanks for the great entries. I look forward to reading more as you continue your journey. I better start saving some $$ to travel. I got the bug again. :)
Congrates!! Hi Gary and Phyllis, you guys finally begin your big trip. I've been reading your journals and it all seems like you're having a great time. Take care!! Cya!
Macau I totally agreed...it is so costly to HK <-> Macau. Imagine you go with a whole family and they charge more on the weekend, too.
it is supposed to have lots of good food...cost of ferry tkt stops us from going there...
Fish harvest Some vivid narration. I have never been able to present myself at such an attactive scene, even though I have been going back to Sanshui for the past five years continuously. I always imagine that the fish, big and small jumping around and workers move them from the net to the baskets. It is simply interesting sight. When I read that Cham Cham jumped into the bottom of the pond which is full of mud, I would dream of the old days that I spent my boyhood in the same Village, and fool around with water and mud quite often. Those were the days!!!!!!.
The most beautiful place Guilin's scenery is the most beautiful ( this saying has been carrying on more than thousands of years)one in China but Yangsu is more attractive. Now you two just experienced it, and what do you think? Do you agree with the saying?
Test Enjoy the pictures and journal!Frank and I had the best time in Yangshuo in year 2000, then I got pregnant and the good days were over since then.
