Your 1/3rd sized archer will go with my half sized jade General Selwyn. Keen to see him when you get home. Is the poor old guy who dug up the warriors 40 years ago still signing books in the gallery? Not a happy chappy!!
Sel,Thanks for blog. Warriors are on my bucket list. I know, I could have been there now! I will make sure I monitor Mike S very closely when next it is his shout! Appalling ineptitude! I think the one star rating on your blog is harsh . Will try to work out what to do to change things. All the best.Cheers,Lowie
The music did not do much for me. Michael, still smarting from his LDT award methinks, believes I am a cultural desert and therefore has nicknamed me Gobi!
No Carol. We went left (uphill) at the top of the cable car as Jenny advised it would be less crowded there. The luge was on the downhill side of the Wall and Jenny thought the queue to ride down would be too long.
Sel, Rob,Thanks for the blog. I will review, as I enjoy your travelogues. Ask Jennifer (your guide) from me: I thought the Great Wall was built to keep a dog out of someone's back yard. Regards to Mike and Rhona. Tell them I am thinki ng of them re Kate. I am currently in Sydney. Carol is still in the US with her mum. The good news is that things are going relatively well. All the best.Cheers,Lowie
Thoroughly enjoyed every part of your blog and would LOVE to travel with you sometime! We are from the Houston area and are planning our first trip on the Allure on Sept. 8th. Although we've cruised many times (usually on Princess and Cel ebrity), this will be our first venture on Royal Caribbean! Thank you for documenting your fabulous 2-week trip!
