Yep, call us or e-mail me when you are back (or before)! We only need someone to watch Annie once or twice a month (few hours each). Let's get together when you guys are back! Jeanette and Wes, you guys are very welcome to join. I really miss you guys! :-)
From Don Yes! I will back on the 5th of November, working as many shifts as possible soonafter (we are almost broke) but I would be happy to watch Annie outside of my work schedule. I appreciate the opportunity and will talk to you guys when we get back or possibly soon before. Thanks!
Don
oh boy! A new place eh?? We can't wait to see it! My work situation sounds pretty bad then... I just emailed Blue Sea directly and asked to have my email forwarded to Toby so I can hear straight from him about it. Even part time would be okay with me! It has me all nervous now.. Don and I are still having a good time... we are learning to tolerate each other to the extreme which is a good thing. :) In all honestly though we are so homesick and miss you all. We keep saying "I can't wait to see Jeanette and Wes!" We are heading out of Italy sometime within the next day or two.. trying to find another spot in Southern France to camp out before we head up to Paris for a day or two. Anyhoo, thanks for the note! See you guys soon. :)
Hello!! Doesn't look like our last comment got posted - so here's a new one. It sounds like you guys are having a blast! Well we had to move, so we are now living on Lummi Island!! It is awesome - can't wait for you two to see it! As for Blue Sea - not so hot. I would doubt you have a job. Daniel was just laid off, production will be shut down the next two Fridays and we have a mandatory shutdown from Christmas to New Years - first time ever! I'm excited about the Christmas break - makes me feel llike I'm in college again! However, the company is not doing so well. We've had some pretty low days. They will reevaluate production hours in 2 weeks. So that is pretty bad. I don't want to stress you out, but that is the "scoop".
Love you both and miss you tons!
International Call I've been getting a call from Vietnam - is that you guys? I'll pick it up next time it comes in. I thought maybe I owed Vietnam money, so I was ignoring it! -Sherri
Cold weather here.. 70+ degree..awesome!!
Don, I'm sure you can stay at John's boat...if you can babysit Annie sometime. John and I need our own time. We need a babysitter!
Anyway, have a safe trip. Post photos when you can!
Whuzs up!!! Y'all sound like you're doing fantastic!
Tired of each other yet? :)
We finally got to look at all your pics - we've been moving! But we'll fill you in when you get back. You guys got some rocking pics and stories though!!
Keep em coming!
Wes says "Hi".
Love you guys - take care of yourselves.
changes are GOOD! Changes in plans just add to the adventure! I agree that the little remote towns in Ireland are best...but now you can experience France and Italy! There is already talk of frost in Bellingham...but it's still sunny!
Hey lads ! So hello again. I sent you both a private email but Mike didnt get a reply. I guess you are quite busy with your travels. Hows Ireland?? I bet they can pound back a few pints or two hahaha. Please send us a line when you can we are thinking about you both. We finally got the stink out of our clothes and the aches and pains are long gone! LOL MISS U GUYS!! Next stop we hope one day soon is Germany... Be safe n have fun!! Mike n Kelly
Hi from Bham Hi guys! Sounds like fun -- looks wet there. We just had more than 2 weeks of constant sun, but the rain has arrived again. Ah, October. I'm 40 now, so that's good, and Don can feel relieved that the deal we had about me turning 40 and my old maid status is no longer an issue. By Nov. 1st I won't be an old maid anymore! Emmett says howdy. Joe says howdy. Have fun! When do you come home again?
Close to my "homeland" After reading about where you're going in Northern Ireland, you're actually closer to my homeland than you think! Apparently (after doing a little research), as you look across the North Coast from the Promenade in Portstewart, you can see the Inishowen Peninsula of Donegal, and that's it! That's where both sets of grandparents and where my mom was born. Your adventure is amazing! Can't wait to see and hear more...cheers to both of you! Mo
From the Wild Grouse and the Buttercup Good to hear from you! You are right about Ireland, we miss Scotland with a fury. Susan's limp is finally dissappearing.. and Don is horrified at the price of pints here. How will one ever drink the mighty grouse on a budget?! Are you up for WHW round two in a couple of years? Say hello to Stuart and give him a "big boy" from both of us!
Kingshouse Hotel [Sober and Drunk] Don & Susan, Hope your still enjoying your travels, Ireland is a great place but not as nice as Scotland. Stuart and I finished the walk and made it home, the leg transplant was supposed to take place this weekend but I’ve decided that it can wait, till after the pub. Like you we were deflated with the 3 hour train journey but to be honest we were more pissed off that the pub at the sign was closed and we had to walk a further mile to get a pint. I’ve told everyone the Kingshouse is the official drinking stop of the WHW, keep the grouse flowing.
The Highland-Crew It was an awesome time with you guys, hope we see us again.

Thanks for sharring! Love the mushrooms! I always wondered if there really were little red ones with white spots like the knolls live in. And all the scenery is gorgeous. Looks like fun people.
Yeah! More Pics HI again, Thanks again for the pics. I love the country side and Wow! those mushrooms are awesome! And the sunset at Loch Lomond is Beautiful. If you can find an Avon rep. buy some Skin so Soft for those midges.
Susan I am sorry to tell you.....you have missed all the fun of the E-Line move. Now we feel like mice in a maze. Actually, it is all much better and we should have all the bugs worked out by the time you get back. I know you can't wait and are counting the days!
Hey, is that Don on the Box of the Scott's porage oats? (Pic 59) And don't forget to keep your eyes open for those Highland piles of POO. Miss you!
Nobody's jealous here......only a little GREEN with envy Hey you two! I just got your blog address and it is so awesome to be able to travel along with you. Thanks for taking the time out of your great adventures to think of us little people back home. Yea, every morning when I get to work, I think.........."Too bad Susan's going to miss all the fun at work today." Yea, right!
Hey did you put that traffic cone on the head, of the statue, of the man on the horse?
lucky ducks Don and Susan, you lucky ducks...I am almost there with you, living the adventure vicariously! Thanks for the blog and keep it up. I'll skip the midge bites, ok? Can't wait to see photos. Praying for safety as you travel and soak in the wonder of it all.
Aunt Susan, Preston and Spencer
