Trip home Nicole, it sounds like you may get back at a time or date different from what we discussed. Let me know so I can make sure we have you covered when you get to Atlanta. Love ya.
Home! Hi Cutie Pie,
I miss you and am glad you are coming home, but I hate that it didn't turn out to be all that you expected. Just remember, the "Hilton" is not always nice....sometimes it's a jail cell (at least for some Hilton's!!!).
Shopping Hi Nicole
Tomorrow is going to be fun seeing all the French country. I think Niece will be fun also, remember this is a great opportunity to see Europe. I looked at your pictures of Switzerland and it sure is pretty with the mountains all around it. Have a wonderful time.
Love, Ama
Forget Paris I am so glad you have left Paris. French Countryside is suppose to be beautiful....maybe you will enjoy it. Today is another pretty day in Ala. I understand the temp. there is about 75....thats good.
Love Ama
Paris It seems like Paris is always described poorly by Americans when they have visited there. The most common comment is that French are not friendly to Americans. Its good that you moved on and found some fun and comfort. I am assuming that you are still in France but not sure. I am sure the restaurants are a challenge when you have to guess at which ones to go in and do not have recommended ones. Don't forget the grocery, even though I know those are different too. You can get cheese and other snacks. Its all about the experience, right? Keep having fun, taking it all in, and being safe. We all miss you and love you! Dad.
Paris It is great to hear from you in this fashion. It allows us to keep up with you. Have you tried escargo? I'm told the best part of France is the countryside. Look forward to reading more about your travels.
Just checking in Sorry for being so late getting to you. It sounds like you are having a ball. France has recently changed to a more conservative president maybe the people will be a little nicer to Americans. This a great adventure for you.....check out the wines....Wine and cheese can be a great meal. I love you. Ama
I know you are having a great time! What an experience. I need that kind of diet (or any kind for that matter.) How is the weather there? It is beautiful in Destin. Jim and I are off to the pool! love, mom
Sounds like you are on quite an adventure.I'm sure after a few days
you might catch on to some of that french.Do you have any kind of trans
lation book with you? Get some rest tonight and I'll be waiting to hear the next episode.
Love ,Nana
Your car Nicole, Sounds like everything is going well, except for that phone card. Is Prince William with you in Paris now? I can't believe there were no comments about him. I guess you missed him. Paris should be fun. Sounds like the hostel was interesting. I had a small accident in your car. No worries. I am getting it all fixed up and you get a new paint job out of it. The body shop guy said he should be able to get it all better in time for me to leave it at the airport for you when you return. He said he was only worried about the axle since it is supposedly a little crooked now. He said as long as you drive with your right hand you should be fine. Love ya, have a blast. Dad
Hooray Hey sister, I'm glad that you made it safely, and that you are having so much fun. Thanks for the birthday wishes....I was very surprised to hear that you hadn't already camped out in front of the palace yet! I guess that's next on the agenda. Good luck with your calling card. Love you!
Finally Hi Cutie Pie...I was so glad to see that you made it. I read your arrival post to Ama. She was really excited to hear it and said she would get Papa to figure out how to get to your website. Laura is with us and having a happy birthday! Jim says he is glad you are being safe and hopes you remember all the defensive moves he has tried to teach you (oops...that was Laura). We love you...Mom
Fish & Chips I am so jealous that you rode the London Eye! I have always wanted to ride that! So apparently all of the rumors I have heard about British food are true. I believe you could write a book on the "Travel Through Europe Diet." You could start a new trend. It may not be the cheapest diet, but it would definitely be the most fun!
By the way, I heard that the French Open tennis tournament is going on in Paris right now. It is a pretty big deal. You will probably get to see some of the festivities related to that, which would be really cool!
KFC?? I am a bit disappointed in you girls... you need to branch out a little farther than KFC?!? You are there to experience the culture and all that is European... are you not? Maybe next time you girls could try say maybe "fish and chips"?? haha I miss you both terribly and i can't wait for the next update! Love y'all, Sarah
You made it! That's great! It sounds like you have already seen a lot. I'm glad to see that you are embrasing the British culture and eating at authentic British restaurants like KFC! haha! That is pretty funny. It's great that you will get to see a whole new city now. I already can't wait to see your pictures! Have a great time!
On Your Way You will probably be in London when you read this note. I hope it is going very well already. Watch out for those boys with accents. Love you. Have a blast. Dad.
Nice I just saw that you will be traveling to Nice. I went there and loved it! Be prepared -- nude beaches haha! There were lots of cute little shops there
