Houseboat
The houseboat was very nice and so was it's owner, Efren. Inthink you should be able to find everything you need at www.phildutch.net. The boat was within the confines of the inner city and you are within an easy walk of all the museums and major highlights of Amsterdam. Enjoy your trip!!

Hello, I read your bog and was curiuos on what street your houseboat was on? I will be visitng in the Fall and will be staying at the Marriott in Leidesplein. Really dont know if it is the best place as I want to be close to cafes and good tourist stuff. The houseboat seems very nice but I didnt have any persnal contacts and not sure how houseboats were in Amsterdam. Could I ask how much it was per night, who I might contact if you recommend this boast and locate. This trip is very important to me so any information will be greatly appreciated.

After a long year of work and studying, we are getting back into travel mode. Our newest adventure takes us to Africa for a 40 day overland journey that will have us camping our way through Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia and South Africa. After we will spend 5 days in South Africa and then we will head back to Europe where we will spend 3 days with our friends in the Netherlands and 3 days with our friends in Berlin. It's going to be a crazy summer, but who knows when we will get this kind of time again? ... full info
