Hiya Hi, Mark and Jackie have taken me for a walk over the Long Mynd today. It was very muddy and cold but we sat on the top with a packed lunch and watched the gliders. I'm going to have a little sleep now before my tea. Take care, Meg.
How high are these mountains and what is the temperature. What do you have to carry? Do you need sleeping bags and that stuff or do the local people provide it? Can someone more teckie than me explain why it says 6 photos on the top page but 0 photos on all the blog entries. Can anyone else see photos? Am I doing something wrong?
Glad its going swell for you knobs out there, fat boy is doing fine the loggers are sorting him, iv chatted with them a couple of times its all under control but the house is sh*t when your not there!!! Other than that same old same old! I had some of your dried milk and fruit and fibre when i was seriously hung over the other day and was then sick, so its all fun for me =) love you knobs cant believe i wont see my mum for bloody ages miss you both like mad already. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
It sounds really fascinating. I am really envious of the meal. As the man on the moped was trying to collect people of different nationalities to run over! Hope you are OK. Julie I feel really bad about missing your birthday, I bought a card, but as usual was too disorganised to send it. I might try and transfer some money for you. I'll ask mum if she knows your account details. Where are you going in New Zealand. Clive's nephew lives in Auckland I think so if you are in need of a floor he may be able to help.
Happy travelling
Sue
sounds very cheap, but i suppose anywhere is cheaper than rip off britain! haha. look forward to hearing from u when u get the time! have fun! love u. oh its snowed here again!
Bon Voyage thanks for the update, I have been wondering how you were getting on as I was slogging my way on to the top through Woolstaston with Ian Beaver on our mountain bikes. Keep the updates coming I might be able to talk Carolyn into going on a trip next year if we can convince someone to look after the kids for several months:-)
London to Bankok Glad to know you have arrived safely. Followed the route on the Blog. It looks fascinating over all the different countries and scenery - if there were gaps in the clouds. No doubt you will be in Hanoi by now - Have a good time - We look forward to reading about your travels.
Mum
We are flying to Hanoi in Jan 2010, travelling through Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia for two months then over to New Zealand to recover. We are hoping to get right off the beaten track, spending some time living with local families, and immersing ourselves in the culture as much as possible.... full info
