We took the train from Amsterdam to Brussels where we transferred to the Eurostar for our trip to London St Pancras. As the train didn't leave until 4.17pm it meant that, once our bags were packed, we'd signed out of the hotel and put the bags into storage we could head off. So, catching a tram, we went to the Rijksmuseum on what was a glorious summer day. The area around there is a bit like NYCs museum mile and the Rijksmuseum is the equivalent to the Met although on rather a smaller scale. It was fantastic, although with limited time, we could only see a small part of it.
