I would never thought that 2 weeks completely cut off from civilization would have been physically viable , but oh my gosh it was such a breath of fresh air . It was like entering a different world. We did have solar electricity- something which the headman was so proud of that we couldn't stop him from putting it on at night- even when we deliberatley wanted to use candles to create a bit of atmosphere! And by the seventh day clean water, which we could drink from the tap. The work itself was fairly intense. The first day I managed to completely damage myself.
