Swiss Splendors Land Tour & Royal Princess Maiden Transatlantic Voyage

On Tuesday, October 1, 2013, Earl & I, plus Dad & Mom, will be leaving our truck at the Santa Maria, CA Airport & taking a shuttle to LAX. We will board Swiss Air Flight LX 0041 at 7:30PM to Zurich, Switzerland. We will land 11 hrs./15 mins. & 5925 miles later at 3:45PM on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Our land tour includes stops in Zurich, Interlaken, Jungfrau, Berne, Lucerne (where we will enjoy dinner 1 night w/ Paso friends, Bud & Marilyn), Lake Lugano, Lake Como, & ending in Venice, Italy. On Wednesday, October 8, 2013, we will embark the newest Princess Ship, the Royal Princess, on an 18-day cruise of the Mediterranean & her maiden Transatlantic passage to Ft. Lauderdale. Besides Venice, we will also visit Messina, Italy; Naples (Capri & Pompeii), Italy; Rome, Italy; Cannes, France; Barcelona, Spain; & Madeira, Portugal; ending in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on Sunday, October 27, 2013. We will fly home from Ft. Lauderdale on Virgin America Flight VX 0337, leaving at 6:55PM and arriving at LAX 9:45PM. We will spend the night in LA & board the shuttle back to the Santa Maria Airport on Monday, October 28, 2013. In Santa Maria, we will pick up our truck (thanks Dave & Sharon for parking it there), & it will be homeward bound, dropping Dad & Mom in Paso Robles, & ending at our humble abode.
