Europe 2009-2010

The best trip ever! We left Rio de Janeiro on December 19th 2009, direction London. We got there on the 20th. Spending Christmas in London was just out of this world. The city was BEAUTIFUL with all those colorful lights and we were lucky because the weather was cold but it didn't rain a single day. After London, we head to Amsterdam by train, which was such a great experience. The trip by train is much more comfortable and and much less tiring. When we got to Amsterdam, it was late at night, though and it was raining and bitter cold. We checked-in and went to bed. I woke up late the other day, as usual. Actually, we didn't wake up early a single day during the trip. But it was a good idea, as we could enjoy the clubs at night. Amsterdam is such a beautiful place, but if you pick out the hotel location really well. We stayed in the Red Light District, which was not a great idea. In spite of, being a sight of the city, it's not the best place to stay, specially two young foreign girls. It's kind of dangerous at night, but we made some brazilian friends and we used to hang out at night night with them. We went to Barcelona after this crazy time in Amsterdam. We got there on the 30th and spent New Year's Eve there and it was the best choice we've made. We made a lot of friends there, including canadians, americans, italians, and even egyptians. It was just amazing!!! To finish this awesome journey in the european continent, we finish the trip in Paris. That was the time to chill out a bit and have some fun with my french friends that I missed a lot. Despite the flight delays and the freezing weather, that was a fabulous trip.
