Gone with the Wind is short in comparison
Was that a blog or a full length novel, very interesting and riveting Sam said he can't wait for the film to come out, me I'm going to wait for the musical version! No kidding Santa Ponsa put on a very credible show which we watched from the comfort of our glass conservatory. But I think Sydney might just have beat us, 4 post cards all arrived at once today.

I know the feeling
Oh I do so know the feeling being away from home on special occasions and surrounded in all directions wth rain add to that lack of funds and it feels as if the world is ending, and suddenly it dries up and the sun come out and all is well again but it is a gloomy patch whilst it lasts, so on and forwards and Sydney will do the trick, sorry I thought you were to be in Sydney for Christmas, guess it was for N.Year, we are off on the 16th to Africa, sounds more impressive don't you thinkl, or more exotic!

Welcome Rain
I hope you enjoyed your rainy spell and reminded you there is a real world out there, in the meantime thanks so much for your thoughtful post card, it is a lovely change to have a hand written message, it gives a sense of real human contact, especially when beautifully penned, we asumed by Jill. Now well into the New Year and it all seems a tad sureal that you are actually doing it all, so if I feel that way, I guess your off the planet. Try not to worry about us, we can make do with Europe! Love from us.

Infanticide Blamed on Dingos
Mother blames a pack of Dingos for the death of her child when it is now believed that the child was murdered. It seems that many people were prepared to accept the dogs were responsible which is a pity because they are normally not aggresive. Anyway a very interesting blog and so full of activity, not to mention moonlight walks by invitation! Quickly back to normal here and now looking forward to New Year for which we send our very best, our fondest to you both.

Stamina to spare
Well I must stay we are impresed by your fitness and stamina you seem up for everything. good on you. Sam continues to make some slow progress but every now and again he takes a sharp reminder that he is not out of the wood yet. the new diet is difficult to stick to and is dull and boring, wthout much opportunity for treats, and with Christmas so nearly on us life has lost some of it'd allure . Are you missing home still?

Red Devil
Very exciting and equally well written you captured to perfection the mounting tension the high octane buzz and the suggestion of risk and danger, I was on the edge of my seat, I called Sammy and stopped him from going to his bed, well judged length which held the interest and enabled you to stay focused, well done.

Hi sam and fred. Yes we are reallly having the time of our lives and although its getting tiring we are pushing ourselves onwards. Jills in her element as im managing to cook most nights although we do treat ourselves now and then to a meal out. We are currently in Airlie beacb and heading for Rainbow beach where we catch our boat to fraser island. Should fun as im looking forward to seeing my first dingo! Of course we added you in as Family as we wanted to share our experiences with friends and family as without them we couldnt do what we're doing. xx love to you both.

Sharing your experience
You have to know that your trip has had a profound affect on me, by including us 'in' as family we really feel and share your sense of awe and wonder at all that you are seeing, thrilled for you that you are so obviously moved and excited and ourselves rejuvinated by your appreciation of this wonderful world. I would judge this is the best investment you have ever made and it's coming to us free of charge! What's it like travelling with your own personal chef Jill? Lots of love F & S

How does your adventure compare to similar U:K: travel I wonder?
Our N.Z. family has strong connections wth Dunedin, Jean the Mum was from the city so we have heard some interesting tales from her childhood, and now that she has returned there after 40 years in Europe she claims that colour t.v. is about the biggest change to take place!! I must say that it all appears to be very well organized and pleased to note no reports of any major dsasters, the 'plane trip really grabbed me. Two fellow small hoteliers from Dulnain Bridge by Grantown were from N.Z. Now they restrict it to summer opening and only B&B, the remainder of the Scottish winter months they spend back in NZ where they bought a cute cottage, as expected they are looking forward the NZ summer, they are North Island, suddenly we are up to our necks in the intipodes. Pleased it is stilll going so well. My birthday today 26th. Fred

Our news for a change
Thanks for another interesting blog, the more you write the more I am falling under the NZ spell, I just love Crayfish and Lobster, prefer it cold. Finally after months of tests and cameras up the bum and down the throat we have a diagnosis, as well as a neat new line in blow jobs as seen from the inside $1 each. He has become intolerent to gluten, apparantly it is be comming more common, and can be dangerous and difficult to spot, no treatment, just very careful diet and much relief at knowing, so now a new way of eating begins. Love to both Fred

Relentless progress
well that has been one hell of a trip, the Gondola ride looked a bit hairy, I'm a bit jittery with heights but I will have to face up it I suppose, do they tailor make some trips for old age farts I wonder? It never fails to amaze me that this wonderful planet is just not sufficient for some of mankind, that they still have the need to wreck and kill, this must be a life changing experience for you both, it all appears to be going so well, things will never be the same, I must say you are taking more seriously than a vacation, more a life lesson. Thanks for keeping in touch. As Aye, F & S E & O A

Basis for a series
you must have the basis for your own series certainly enough material for part one, just imagine how much paper you would need to lug about if WP had not been invented, it must be a very good laptop you have, I take you are travelling with one and not looking for Ccafes! Sounds great fun panning for gold, not much chance of finding a rich seam, but probably better than the lottery. Never mind you have something more precious than gold or a lottery win with Jill. Keep 'em coming, looking forward to what you make of Aus. Never fancied it when I was young, but now it's kinda come of age I would like to visit............Sam still a bit up and down, not yet at the bottom or the root of the problem but sure we will get there soon. Love to you both from boring old Mallorca!

hello
hi sam and fred. Thanks for the support in regards my blog.. yes its all my own work as Jill has a memory like a sieve!! I quite enjoy typing the blogs up as it gives me a bit of comfort knowing that, like yourselves, mum, nick, anna, joss and dad are reading the blog back home as im quite homesick and miss everyone. I have days i long to be home but then as quick as that im actually thanking god im missing the hellish weather and miserable grey skies. SWings and roundabouts i suppose. how are you doing now Sammy? i hope you have recovered. mum says you put on a bit of beef so thats promising indeed. I hope you are doing fine to Fred and i hope too see you both when i come back. Oh, and yes Fred my expectations have been over and under depending on where ive been. You should really try come over to NZ as its fantastic and the people here are super friendly. We did pass the Coramandel and it looks very nice indeed as the beach looked awfully inviting. Well we are now in Lake Teupo just now and heading for the Bay of Islands in the north which will be nice as jills going swimming with the dolphins. We leave NZ to head for Australia on the 27th of Nov and are starting off inthe north, Cairns. We have to be in Sydney for new year so plenty time to get down there. We hope to visit Byron Bay and also Ayres rock at some point. Watch this space...or blog even!!! ok folks....thanks again for your wee mail. it was nice to get some feedback as sometimes i think i just rabbit on....anyway..love to you both...x leon and jill...
