What a joy it has been I Have SOOOO loved reading your blogs and although your explaination of your experiences in Canada was a fav, I actaully think this one about joy and growth is my fav! Luv you! See you soon! :)
We've all been there. Your blogs have been great fun to read and your honesty is refreshing. I have shared similar feelings and I guess it is why I am trying to enjoy each day I have on this earth- and why I'm trying to see as much of it as I can.
You have worked hard to get where you are at physically and emotionally. Enjoy your success!
Thanks, my friend - its easy to be interested in the world, when I have such interesting buddies - will you be blogging your African adventure - I'd love to read that!
The end already? Hi Lin
Sounds like the holiday's going really quickly - as they do when you're having a good time! I'm sure we'll see you back in the gym soon showing off your new exercise gear...
Enjoy the rest of your holiday!

Wow! Amazing trip! I agree with your assessment of Las Vegas. It has never been one of my favorite places. You saw more of New York than many US visitors see.
It's always fun to travel but there is no place like home!!
Come home Hi Krusty
We are now out of OCIO in the Government Service Group with Shared Service, new ED role to be called soon and our community of practice is launching 31 July and booked out in 1 day! Its all happening, please come home :)
Good to hear you are enjoying the trip, please dont apply for leave ever again.....
Don't Forget To Try a Beaver Tail Sis, you must seek out and try a Beaver Tail before you leave....if you eat the whole pastry you'll probably end up in a diabetic coma, but leaving without a few bites would be a crime! All well here and much excitement over the dinosaur gift-ies for the budding paleontologist.
Beaver tail Hahaha! I thought what happened in Ottawa stays in Ottawa, sis! I will try something French, but the Beaver Tail is not available here and just looking at the poutaine (fries, gravy & cheese curds) makes me feel like I would spontaneously combust! Love to ya boys xxx
Very informative. I never knew or thought to wonder of the mating habits of banana slugs; very interesting and frightful. Also never knew of the different direction of whizz for male or female bears. Your posts are educational and a joy to read.
Impressed Dearest Sister, having had you for as long as I have and knowing you the way I do, I'm seriously impressed (and very proud) of your climbing and paddling efforts...glad there was some kind souls to help finesse the technique, but I doubted you needed it. Waiting with baited breath for stories of bear wrestling!
Inspiring to say the least! Oh my friend how wonderful - and yes it is now totally official - I AM JEALOUS!!!!! I can't wait to see the photos and read some more of your amazing adventures (personally - I really enjoyed your kayaking regale - it had me with a smile on my face and the odd moments of laughter as I pictured you out there on a beautiful calm, serene and clear blue water going around........and around.........and around......)!
And I think your unbridled optimism is simply outstanding in the way you signed off - I am about to head off to view some grizzlies so will post this and get back to you in a few days - eeekkkkk did you forget the 'grizzlies' part?!
No longer equal mixes of happiness FOR you and jealousy OF you!!!

Welcome! Happy you made it safely. Forget the boarding pass gate and go right to the monitors. I've been caught in the switch before. Enjoy the delights of Alaska!
