Travel Kristen,
Your Dad was here today and we watched the video on Economic times, we found it very interesting. Everything you seem to do is very exciting and I enjoy following you on your travels. I know how proud your Dad is, looking forward to more.

We are so grateful that you are out of Thailand. We've been very concerned about all of you. Those few days with no communication from you really added to the tension. We read that many websites had been shut down.
We are definately more at ease now.
We love you. Take good care of yourself and the rest of the group!
M&D XOXOXO
Hi Kristen,
I hope you are having a wonderful time. Your dad and I are so happy for you! We will be checking the blog daily.
Stay with the group...etc, etc, etc. Say hi to Nick for us.
Love, Mom XOXOXO
I really enjoyed your post about Thailand, and the flight attendants! Thailand is such an amazing place, and you reminded me of my own time there! My blog is looking for travel photos, reviews, etc, to share (like what sort of tasty Thai candy was in your welcome basket ;) If you have the time, check it out at dirty-hippies.blogspot.com, or email me at dirtyhippiesblog@gmail.com. Continued fun on your travels!
Heather :)
Hey Kristen-- I've missed my vicarious italy experience this weekend. but hey, I'm guessing that's because you're actually experiencing italy. Hope you and your dad are having a great time. ICA was lovely. Your paper went over well. :)
fuzzy doors I can't imagine why you didn't want to immediately go through that fuzzy blue door. Hee hee.
Are those some kind of posters on the wall? Do they say anything? Very interesting...

Too many things to be impressed about in this entry... though the up-hill reverse does it for me! Why do I picture something out of the movie "European Vacation" when I read this part of the story!?!?
Thanks for your blog, Kristen. I saw it on Facebook and now I am hooked. I went to Italy in 2002 on a study abroad program and now I enjoy reminiscing through your blog. As for the frozen clams, octopus and shrimp, try frying them with some frozen vegetables. They ain't so bad. Best of luck and enjoy the experience! I'll keep reading.
Return trip I will pick you up in the airport under the name Giordano and drive you fast to your house through the villages and hamlets of the Lincoln metro.
I am an assistant professor in the Communication Studies Department at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. After getting bitten by the travel bug in 2009 (when I taught I taught for the CIMBA program in northern Italy), I've been itching to see more of the big, beautiful world. In 2010, I jumped at the chance to be a faculty associate in UNL's Pan Pacific Study Abroad Tour sponsored by the College of Business Administration here at UNL. My travels took me to Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Australia. But the Red Shirt protests cut our time in Thailand short, so I am headed back this summer to ... full info
