:) Kate,
What a beautiful blog entry! It was really fun to read about some of your experiences and it sounds like you have found some semblance of balance between your work life and personal life. I can't imagine how exhausted you must be, but it was inspiring to read about how you find joy in the little things (and crazy adventures) in life. Good luck with your family surveys and I look forward to reading your next blog! Love you!
you are the greatest!! Your blog was so fun to read. Glad you put another one up. There have been lots of times I have checked. thanks for writing. The sound of the word :shoes will haunt you as the most joyous moment. I am glad you are starting to live life. I do hope it rains soon. Your sweet cuna kids certainly can only pray so hard or so much. Love you my dear Kate. Keep doing the great job you are doing. How awesome to to the survey thing.. right up your alley!! I bet they are glad to open their homes to you for a few questions and conversation. all in spanish right?
:) Oh Kate! You sound like you are doing sooo well! I seriously laughed out loud at your New Year's Eve extravaganza! Haha! I can just picture you doing everything you described. I'm excited to hear about your new "assignment" going to meet with the families. It sounds like it's right up your alley.
Keep up your good and hard work! I'm proud of you :)

PS. The "shoes" story was absolutely adorable! Kids certainly know how to tug at your heartstrings! xoxo
HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII! Katie! I loved this entry! It sounds like things are going well :-) I loved watching the video!
OH OH! I was in the mall the other day and TOTALLY saw a girl who looked like you, it kind of creeped me out :-)
Song idea: Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes. But I don't know how far along they are with their English?
I'm sorry to hear you were sick, but glad you're feeling better! It's not the SWINE is it? HAHAHAHA!
Miss you lots! Looking forward to the next update!
love you,
Catherine
What a schedule! Wow, Katie! It was exhausting just to read about all the things in your weekly schedule. Any chance that things will change as volunteers cycle through? You certainly do have a good attitude about it all.
Enjoy the weather there! We haven't seen any bright sun in over a week...
Will look forward to hearing more of your adventures!
Ideas You are the busiest woman I have ever beheld, but I'm so proud of you!
Ideas for your play/song- There were 5 in the bed and the little one said roll over(have them actually roll away)
5 little monkeys (jumping on the bed)
This old man-make up actions (although this might be a lot of english to learn)
Where is Thumbkin (not only is this a song with actions, it helps develop their fine motor skills for writing etc!)
Baby Shark!!!!
eentsy weentsy spider (may be kind of short)
One, two, buckle my shoe
I'll keep thinking! These are all kind of simple and short, but you could always act out some sort of story book too. I miss you and love you lady! Keep up the good work!
Yay! Hi KT!
Geez, you're going to be burnt out in no time...but you're right, a job will look absolutely wonderful when you get back! I don't have a lot of crafty ideas, but I'm sure Theresa's mom Holly would have some! Anyhow, it seems as though you're making the best of things, so kudos to you!
Love you!
Steph
Song It's so good to hear from you!!!
Songs ideas:
I'm a little teapot
You pull out some Barney... (haha)
You are my sunshine
Umm ok, nevermind, I don't know, wrong person to ask. I can give you inappropriate comments 8th graders would make to a song :p You'll have to consult Leslie.
Miss and love you!!!!!

Wow, that sounds awesome Kate; glad to hear everything is going splendidly : ) Remember when we were figuring out what we were going to be doing after graduation,...... Pretty cool stuff I think.
waiting for the next entry Hey time to update the ye ol blog page. Anxiously waiting to read on...
Maybe a picture would be better. they say a pic is worth a thousand words. Now that would be a time saver!
Hi! Hi Beautiful!
I'm finally over at your blog (I was expecting Facebook to publish something in your feed...instead my mom told me lol.) Yay for culture shock! Sounds like you're in tourist mode -and I think that's the most exciting time ever! How ironic that your host mom is named Patti???
I'm still job-less, but hear back from UND on Monday. Crossed fingers!
Otherwise, I'm going to leave the country! Mwhahaha.
I also had a dream last week that you stood me up (well, Catherine) and didn't come for the wedding...it was the awkwardest wedding and dress ever. Please come back for that...
Love you!
Steph
Hi Oh man it sounds like so much fun! I bet you're taking lots of pictures, can't wait to see some. Your neighbor sounds uber creepy! Have you gone out for pizza with any of the guys that ask? I'm glad you have an awesome family to stay with, too bad it won't be for the whole time.
When you said "like things are shoved in or falling out. It’s kind of disturbing", that made me laugh hard, puts quite a picture in my head...
Anyways, glad you're having a great time, I like the updates, makes you feel not so far away.
Love ya, Carrie
