There are people everywhere here. The bus journey to Saigon seemed to pass through endless sprawls of urban villages with the bus twisting and turning to avoid motos, pedestrians, cyclists, runaway chickens, potholes and just about anything else that moves. Somehow we always seemed to be driving through a town when school was out. Like a great flock of angels carrying mobile phones, the girls in particular' stood out as they cycled in great shiny white formation wearing their uniform white 'Ao Dai'-Vietnamese traditional dress of long white satin tunic and trousers. All the women here where trousers and usually tunic tops like pyjamas. I wish I could wear these pyjamas here as they look so deliciously comfortable. Saigon or Ho Chi Minh city that is the question.
