Wow this seems to have been the most extreme part of your trip so far, not what I expected from your adventures at all - trekking through the Himalayas and considering child abduction!
You're also possibly the first and only person who will ever compare the Himalayas with Combe Down. Fantastic.
also... keep laughing at the idea of a conversation that goes.

Brilliant
I'm hooked! Kim, you write so well I feel I'm back in India (20 years after my one and only visit). Your honesty is refreshing. Keep it up and good luck.
Wow the backwaters sound and look amazing, although I don't envy you having to paddle through those water weeds!
Keep up the long blogs - there's not a dull moment in them, distracts me from the grey spa town outside my window!
Take care and stay safe and well fed!
PS. I'll be sure to have some Enya to hand upon your return for you to show us all your fancy yoga moves!
Mister KIm, your way of writing these blogs is very eloquent and atmospheric, am very much enjoying reading them. You seem much more chilled out and confident in your surroundings now, where are you on to next?
Take care and don't get run over please.
x
Ha excellent stuff! I love the characters you only meet on travels...good that you got a bit of a tour in and that it helped you to chill out about the whole Mumbai experience. Wicked photos!x
Wow...sounds like a real adventure! I look forward to reading future installments. You look so happy posing with Ralph in that picture! Poor you. Makes a great story to tell 50 years from now though!
Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday Kim!
India sounds very traumatic :( I hope that soon you will settle in a bit and will have taken enough anti-malarials to go to Goa! Maybe you could buy a cow (?) as I think they are sacred and so you could ride it across roads and the people would not try and run you over!
By the way, the song you sent to us all on facebook was amazing.
I look forward to reading more of your travel diary :)

My favourite one so far...
This was my favourite blog so far. I liked the use of the word emasculated and the bit about sour egg.
