Funny I read this whole email and mentally pronounced Phuc,.... phonetically as you say.
Reading it brought a big smile to my face too, because I went to college with a Phuc.
Actually, with quite a few Phucs!
VERY FUNNY!! ...and here I felt juvenile for looking it up! But we were looking for a unique and potentially humerous name for our all black cat. I stumbled upon "phuc" as a translation for "good luck/fortune"... UREKA! =)
