We started our day at 5:30, to catch our flight to the Galapagos Islands. The flight went surprisingly well, and we got there on time, and even played Yaniv (a card game) with two nice Canadians we met on the plane. Our ship, the Flamingo (not the New Flamingo like I though before), is very small, and has room for 10 passengers, in small rooms. Each room has a bunk bed, and just enough room to stand. Our first wildlife encounter, was at the island of Santa Cruz, the main island of the Galapagos. We drove to the only place where giant tortoises roam free.
