Thanks That was an enjoyable evening reading about your trip. You've got guts going out there on your own. I was impressed by your courage to do some of the things you did. Taking drum lessons was inspiring, who would have thought of that. I hope you are having a great life now that you've come back as it's been four years. I figure you've found a great job, married that cute Jill, unless she was your sister which would be just wrong, and have toured Europe and/or South America. I always wanted to go to Brazil and see the Amazon and it looks like if someone on travelblog doesn't go then I won't go. :) Thanks again and have a great life.
Thanks Jonathan! I'm so glad i found your page, i wasn't sure if this was the right project for me but now I'm!.
I'm planning to go for 1 month to do some voluntary work with animals and now i know where I'm going!

We are not all weird! Watch your mouth sonny boy! Lucky I was at home for a while before Igo back! Glad my Baboo is ok though!
Just for the record not all us Brits like Tea, some of us would rather have a pint of Jaxacoolie!
Jon, it was so wonderful seeing you in Jerusalem!! I am so happy that we had the opportunity to spend Passover together with the Uriels... they're a crazy bunch! Anyway, safe travels! Your blog was truly a joy to read... you crack me up! Take care and see you back in Chicago... more like Glencoe :)
Awesome I love your blog Jonathan. Your adventure has been so amazing. The photos are even pretty good considering you are an engineer! Its incredible how much you have been able to see and do so far. I really don't get how you are so comfortable by yourself in this big scary world so far away from home, but am in awe of your ease and skill as you wander, meet new people and see things most of us only read about. Stay well and be careful---ooops sorry, that was the Mom thing coming out by accident.
nice stories Hi Jonathan,
Here a message from your Dutch friends. The pictures from India are amazing, must be a great trip. But Africa will be much better. As you know we don't go there, so let us know how it is over there. Have fun and let's keep in contact.
being a lion isn't as easy as you think your posting wall looked empty so I thought I'd spice it up a little. Unfortunately, I dont really have much to say. I'm at work, so I'm obviously miserable. Anyway, have fun in Kenya. Don't get eaten or anything, cause I'm told people who go to Kenya tend to have that happen to them. Tell Jill I said hello.
I can't handle you on that camel with your crazy hair and wild beard and rolled up pants and earth tones t-shirt. I guess I need to accept that you are turning into a hippie. When you get back you should call Bennie and you can tye dye shirts and make hemp necklaces together!
Love every word you've written and adore seeing the world through your perceptive eyes. You're amazing...Be happy, be safe and have the best adventure ever....
Blog Jon, I am really enjoying your blog as I am living vicariously through you while I sit in my cubicle. I've heard about those monkeys and their silly poo jokes, but you know, it's all in jest and they don't really mean it...
That dog is AWESOME Dude it looks like you're having SO much fun -- I'm so jealous!! When are you coming back? Do you ever have time to email? If you do, say hi! sjbchapman@yahoo.com
