I'm in India! Woooooooo!
One of the girls here has 1 month to get from Hanoi to Bangkok, Im going to send her to your blog to see how you do it....

I hate librarians Hi jen, sounds like it's all going great... i'm working in northumbria uni library, i never fully realised the true meaning of boredom until now!! Argh, want to be in thailand too!! Kate xxx
Dorothy Thanks for the message Dorothy. Great to hear you have a nice job, it sounds good and very you. I did some yoga the other day and discovered I could barly touch my toes! I used to be able to stand on my hands so morning stretching for me! Take care, loads of love.
Wow, sounds like you've been doing some pretty amazing things!! The photos you've put up are fab.
Things are slightly less eventful at my end, but I have a lovely job now, and am starting a Yoga class on Monday! :-D
Loving you loads.

Great to read the blog ansd see the pics. I think walking is always a good way to make friends and see the country of course. Although I enjoyed being on the elephant in India, but we were bareback and we didn't really go anywhere. they are beautiful though
Love to you both
ok, ok a comment if you insist... did you take a pic of the green budda? All sounds very exciting and im glad the coup is not making things complicated. am on the first day of my new job which is lovley so far. im on my lunch break before going back to uni for greek lesson. its all go here!
Monkeys are fun Hi Jen, the monkeys at Batu Caves are ok - if you feed them with peanuts. Some of them react quite strongly if you bear your teeth and growl - they take that as a threat posture. Saw one working its self up to leap on a little boy from the top of a pillar when he made a threat posture!
Did you see the cows 'under construction' on the LHS of the steps - on the roof.
Have fun in Thailand and keep your heads down - particularly Sam
Dad
Glad all is well with you both, give or take a few adventures, and you're having fun. I would seriously love a real curry right now having read the journal, dead jealous!!! keep up the good work, jenny, andy and cousins
turning green.... I want to go snorkeling! Why am I starting my travels somewhere cold....?
btw, apparently the King has backed the coup in Thailand, which should be good news in terms of stability.
Well don't you two seem to be getting around. Nice to see your blog up to date. Keep having fun. Must have been so strange going back the the centre you were on your year out.
Glad all is well, were there any rituals going on in the big temple when you went? good luck with your early journey, talking about nighmares I'll give you two words... uni registration. set myself low target of just being recognised by any given computer by the end of the week. start small. love andrea
hey :) Hi Jen :)
Hope your well! Sounds like you're having an incredible time, I'd love to visit places like india etc one day, such a culture shock! Keep up the journals you two :)
Take care,
Kev
Murals Were the great murals you and Sam painted, before you left Ipoh 4 years ago, still to be seen. How is Sam, the one with you, standing up to the trip so far. Keep up the flow of news on the progress of your adventure its so interesting. Love Grandpa.
Ipoh hotel Hi Jensam
see if you can afford the Railway Hotel in Ipoh - it is quite surreal with the rooms opening out at the front onto a wide collonial balcony and the back onto the platform!
Dad
Sounds like you're having a lovely time :-D Is Sam enjoying himself?
It's really nice that we're all getting news from you so regularly - makes you feel less far away.
D xXx
Singapore Hi Jen - dont miss the Botanical Gardens - there is a fantastic collection of orchids and is generally a nice place to spend the day. S$5 entry to orchids, free otherwise. ( A can of beer is S$7 tho - so watch out!)
