You are a speed junkie! Of course you would like riding through the dunes on a quad! You like to do everything fast. Did you take Corn with you? Glad you are trying new things! When you are back we should sand board in Idaho or the Oregon dunes!
thanks Thanks, Jen, for including us in your blog updates. I am so loving what you are able to do. You do, however, look like you've lost weight. I'm guessing you don't always have the best and biggest meals. Continue to savor every moment of the trip.
Cheetah-roooooaaarwwwww(is that even close to what they sound like?) Jen-
So cool! I love the shot of the cheetah batting the meat around in the air! Thanks again for all your sharing, I feel like a little piece of me got to go on the trip with you...Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back!
Aaron
Oh my gosh Jen....you truly have guts!!! Glad you are enjoying that experience for me. Not something I ever plan to do.
I bet you are glad you missed the heat wave in Seattle. I love reading your experiences!!!
Lynn
That sounds awesome! I would have done all of that with you in a second. I looked at some pictures online and that place looks incredible! Will you go back there with me someday? :)
Love you and miss you lots!
Love It! Jen, Just love being caught up in your action with the blog/pictures!!! Looks like I have more to look at!!! I can't imagine the adrenaline rush you must get when you get to see those animals in their own habitat....and not behind bars or in a cage. The best I have ever had is feeding a bottle to a six month white Bengal tiger at our fair. Sitting next to it with it's paw on my knee(which was bigger than both my hands and feet) and knowing it was close to it's grown size was amazing. Keep a tighter hold on your lunches!!!!
Love, Lynn
A Baboon Attack...I almost wet myself while reading...with an image of you..."Gary put down the water bottle"...scary as heck I imagine...but of course it'd only happen to you!!! It's like your own personal Seinfeild episode... "Changfield and the Baboon".
Stay safe ladies...keep up with the photos!!! We miss you.
It was so good to hear from you!! Hi!! It was such a good surprise to hear from you girls this morning. It was nice coming in and listening to your voicemail instead of hearing some random person asking about their 401k! lol I'm glad that you girls are safe and having fun. We read your blogs as soon as you post them....since we are all living vicariously through you both. :) Miss you both!
WOW! What amazing experiences you've been having. I'm so happy for you! You're doing a great job describing what you're seeing. Keep it up! Travel safe, be well and my love to Leah too!
"Baah" Sounds like a wonderful, eye opening experience with the scenery, animals and school kids! Let's talk more about the goats...Did you get any goat kisses?, do they actually have long goatees?
Your trip sounds amazing so far!!!
Didn't we talk about animals licking you?!?
Please post when you can...as "Land Locked Monie" is living vicariously thru you!!!
Safe Travels Ladies!!!
hello Jennifer,
Hello! I am enjoying your blog and following your trip in spirit.
Continue to have fun and be safe.
Look forward to more entries in the blog,
Eugene
OMG Hi Jen!!! OMG--- you are having the time of your life and its only 15 days into the whole expedition! I am so jealous, but truly happy that you are experiencing all these amazing things first hand. My favorite is about you crossing the equator! I know you loved the gorilla experience best, but just thinking about it brings me back to watching the movie "Congo" and I am scared out of my wits! I am glad that you are having the best time... please hug Leah for me (ok, you can hug yourself too LOL). Miss ya!!!!
Wow! Hey George,
Wow you have packed so much into 15 days....I am feeling very lazy....I haven't done nearly enough in that time!! My last fifteen days has consisted of working on the house...moved into the basement...and keeping Hayden alive!! Hayden has "escaped" twice out the back gate and wandered the alley to my neighbor's yard...thank god they were home and brought him back! Bad mama! Opps, better run...the matchbox cars and swimming in Hayden's cheerios and getting everything wet! Can't wait to hear what other adventures you have! Stay safe and have fun! Love Jamie
JENN eeeeeeeeee I love your blog, especially how you describe the humidity and the fact that your shorts were soaking wet! LOL, note to self, don't where gray on tour bus.
Love you guyzzzzzzz
Hi George! Hi George!
Yeah, sounds like the trip has started out the right way!!! I am so jealous of your roomy flight on the plane!!! How awesome was that!!!! Pictures look great!! I hope you have a really good, safe time!!! Can't wait to hear what Africa is like!!!
Love Jamie
Hi everyone!
The travel bug has gotten the best of me and I am setting out for a three month adventure throughout Africa on a huge truck.
Although I think I am prepared for 73 nights of tent camping and experiencing a whole other culture & environment, I have a feeling this trip will be indescribable and like nothing I have ever done.
