Come on Down Great trip, and I hope you have time for one more blog, but I am so excited about you being home in just three more days ... so come one down. But save all these blogs; this journal will make great reading one day -- by or by your kids.
Love you
Dad
ahh i need to catch up on your entries but internet time is quite expensive on this cruise ship! i hope you're still having a good time. by the way, i didn't like the second pirates movie very much. it just doesn't come near the first one.
Travels I hope the road is not too twisty to Dharmsala, as I hear that is the greatest danger of being a tourist in India -- the buses on the mountain roads.
I hope you get to go to the Potala Palca while in Dharmsala. If you do, be sure to sing "Hello, Dalai" for me!
Love
Dad
Great!!!! I knew you were far away, but isn't strange it isn't big news there. It is big news here!!!
Damp everything...sounds like Houston, except the cool part. It will be great to see you when you come home. Have fun and stay safe traveling.
What a handsome couple!! The title of this comment says it all.
If there is an elephant in the lobby here, all we think about is the process of "cleaning up." still, these photos are treasures! When you get back, you need to think about creating an account where you can store all of you photos.
Stay safe, stay healthy, keep working on the Hindi, and keep giving your boss 100% until the day you leave. We'll see you soon!
Love,
Dad
Congratulations on getting paid! That's always a nice feeling. Wedding season sounds amazing. If there really are that many going on I'm sure you and Brian can sneak your way into a Punjabi one and eat lots and lots of meat.
wow Wow, I can't believe I discovered ur travelblog so late. I can totally imagine your expressions when these events happened. And...hmm, I think I smell India again...lol
Helmet OK. Trying hard not to sound like a Dad here, but sometimes I can't help myself. Especially with the driving conditions getting worse with the afternoon monsoons, I hope you do have a helmet now and that you use it every day if you are still riding the scooter home in the evenings.
I'm trying to imagine a sand storm and a frog-choker all in one day.

Take Care
Dad
One month Wow, what an experience (far beyond most college freshman--and I'm very glad you have Brian and, periodically, other friends, to share it with you and to help you out). It is great to try and appreciate where you are at the moment that you are there--we all spend too much time anticipating the next place, step, event so we don't even see our surroundings. Soak in India.
Love, Mina
Pushkar Pushkar looks really interesting! Sorry that the journey was a little hectic, but it is also just more introduction to the culture of India. While you will not have been everywhere and seen everything, you will have enough that you will really appreciate the differences in the land, the people and the culture -- amongst the folks of India and in comparison to Texas or Philly.
The pictures, as always, are lovely. But most important, its just nice to always read about your experiences and your prose is delightful.
I am so proud of you!
Dad.
Great pictures, as always. Good luck with the model. I'm sure you'll figure something out to make the pictures look great. At some point you should post a link to the site so we can all see your handiwork!
What a wonderful experience and how beautifully written! Seemingly little things like that (noticing how different the earth smells) are exactly why I love to travel.
you know what's crazy is that i can totally see you gazing out of your window (in this crazy haveli i know you guys don't really live in, but don't kill the fantasy lol) and being totally--or at least a little--at peace with the world and with yourself. i believe that is the exact definition of "chill" lol

Strong Man
I didn't know Brian was so strong, and with just a touch of his fingers too.
