Plantation House. Yeah, it sure is a great little place, very relaxing and friendly... and Tim is a helpful guy and does everything he can to help you settle in.
And he chose the best country!
Anal farmer. hahaha.... Nice one Frano, I am afraid I can't name & shame this person for libel reasons (You know what he's like)(well... everyone knows what he's like). He knows who he is, god bless him and if he´s happy and the rodents are happy with their sex-slave existence - live and let live I say. Considering he made my life a misery at the Gear Laboratory I really should name & shame, but I'd lose all my redundancy pay in lawyer´s fees fighting the case! So bollocks to it!
Animal Farm Your journals are a breath of fresh air for us lot back in rain sodden Wales, but I must know who is this rodent shagger you once worked with? (Name and Shame), would it be the same fella who some how managed to get his manhood caught in a beak of a goose? Be Lucky, Frano.
Well said old chap! Cheers dear Nicholas, very true and a great way of putting it.. Why lie? Neath and Cardiff ARE hellholes! (only joking for those of you who live in these wonderful places)...
Enjoy the land of smiles fella!
dont worry mate when ever people travel the suffer from" the WHY DONT YOU syndrome" for those of you who dont rember the legendary childrens program on saturady mornings what ever they cooked they all agreed it was the nicest thing theyve ever eaten all liars no doubt any way im in the land of smaile catch you soon
Thanks... Thanks for the message. It truly is a country with open arms and genuine, sincere and warm people. For me the positives of the country far outweigh the negatives and I shall return one day in the future without doubt.
Thanks again.
Enjoyed the journal I live in the US but I was born and lived in Colombia...first time I read a journal about a foreigner's account of the way they experienced a visit to my homeland... It is a beautiful country with many great qualities struggling with so many horrific problems... The one thing I trully miss about Colombia is how open and welcoming Colombian's are with each other.. I from Medellin an I know for a fact that they have to be the nicest people I have ever met... I lived in Italy three years and traveled a lot when I worked with an American Airline ...I yet need to meet a region with such open arms ...
Good luck in your future travels...
Franco
My system? Nice one Dave! You`ll be pleased to know I have been in fine condition since those horrendous early days in Guatemala, whatever that thieving doctor gave me.. It did the trick! I have been like a well-oiled machine ever since (without much maintenance)!
Off to Mongolia ehh? You get about also... see, it ain't so bad being a student. That`s what I am gonna do when I get back.
All the best
Jamie.
Hobbsy! My old drinking buddy! Yeah I´m following the Jacks very closely, I even get a video of all the goals sent to me by email-- which is an absolute godsend when I am this far from home! Keeps me sane in this crazy country!
Hope you are well & still drinking heavily.
Jamie

Another great entry. I like your entries _ keep them coming. Now a question I ask often to my mates ... How are your bowels?!
As for myself, I am off to Mongolia later this week. Only a two week excursion but us students have limited travel opportunities.

Coca Cola Indeed... Cheers Dave, down here is bonkers - it´s a far cry from the highlands of Guatemala I can tell you! The Da Vinci Code really is a page-turner... but maybe that`s becuase I have the mind of a ten year old. And in response to your question... there is no response!
Cya later.

Real Coca Cola! I enjoy your commentary _ especially about the Dan Brown's book. I wonder what his take and the 8 million malakas that purchased it would say to your comments.
I know how you Welsh have weak stomachs - Did you sample, for medicinal purposes I know _ not that you would mention in this forum.
Miss Romelia? Be good and stay safe. Kempisty.
I bloody hope so! Cheers big Da, ya know I am gutted to be missing all the football action, new season, new players, new ground etc... real gutted.
But I watched the highlights of the first home again over here on the web, real proud of the boys, even though 10 of them are foreigners!
Martinez is OK though cos he speaks Spanish.
Keep it real.
Ouch. Yeah, the air-conditioning unit is still there - with a piece of my head left on it. Part of me will stay forever in Venezuela.
And I also gotta keep off the beers or I will be catching up!

It's now 2011.
Wow, how 'time passes' as Dylan T once remarked, twice, in 'Under Milkwood'.
Jessica and I are now proud parents to Carys Francisca and we are living in Swansea, Wales, my home city. Jessica is learning her trade in motherhood and the vagaries of Swansea slang and twang and English in general. I am working in the steel industry and am a current undergraduate on a Manufacturing Systems degree program.
Since the last travelblog I haven't written anything but I hope to do so soon... I still dream of putting all my South American adventures into a book and hopefully that dre... full info
