Jakey, I'm so proud of/happy for you! Reading some of this has really inspired me to keeping seeking my own creative path to fulfillment. And I'm moving to the Bay Area in a few weeks, so I'm excited you're back in Cali. I landed a job at Stanford, and I could use some advice on the area. Email me if you get a chance.
You are blessed It is just wonderful to read your blog and to live through these fantastic experiences with you. Funny about life- we all want to make a lot of money but then we discover that real happiness comes by doing things for others. You have learned this early in life and I hope you never forget it. Keep up the good work. Miss you.

Blessings Jamaica it is so wonderful to know that you are doing so good. I've read all of your blogs and it seems that you are having this amazing time. I envy you. Not really. I'm glad that you set off to do the things that you wanted to do and travel the world at an early age. Most people will never get to experience that in their lifetime. So enjoy these precious moments. My family and I are praying for you on your journey and asking God to continue to pour out his Blessings upon you. Take care and I miss you "J". My Bestest Supervisor
A Man Could Get Used to That, Too!!! Hey, Jake! I've been exceptionally busy and exceptionally whipped at day's end as a result. I've read this blog entry twice but am only now responding. Sounds wonderful!
The view from land's end Perspective is a wonderful thing. So glad you are opening yourself up to these wider and wider encounters in the world. A girl SHOULD get used to this. The trick is figuring out how to make it part of the fabric of everyday life, so that wherever you are and whatever you're doing there is a sense of adventure and discovery in it. Even if the view is just out the window, it will be your unique window on the world. (Speaking of views out of windows, I am sitting at my/our desk watching spring unfold in earnest now. It is astonishing, yet again!) Love and kisses to you. I'll see you on Tuesday. Momma
Quite an Adventure Jake:
Looks like you had quite an adventure. I'm really proud of the spirit you're showing, traveling 21 hours in a bus, climbing mountains, staying in hot, humid hostels. Keep it up. And keep the wonderful pictures coming.
Hal
Twirling in South America, eh? Jake, your bus trip sounds like one of those moments in life where you feel like a snake that's poked its head too far inside a hollow bamboo stalk: one way out - straight ahead. But it's an adventure. Like when I landed in Madrid, then took a train from there to Florence. Um. WHAT was I thinking!? At any rate, the falls look amazing and so do you! Who are the people you're traveling with?
When I was in Brazil it was my hope to see Iguazu Falls, but at that time, last summer, the falls had dried up. There were no falls. Just rocks! So I didn't go.
This is the first blog link I've received. Bummer that I missed the others. Maybe there's an archive . . . ? I'll look for it.
Love you, my little zip liner!
Chip
No pictures Sorry, but I do not see any pictures. Nor do I see the blog. Glad you are well and safe.
Check out my new web site - www.frankieloutravel.com
Glad you are learning something and not just partying (smiles)
I am enjoying your blog -- I hope to visit Argentina sometime in the future so your information is great!
Peace - dg
Glad to hear you're beginning to check out some of the places I'm interested in seeing when I get there. Nothing like having someone scout the place out ahead of time! Are you planning to check out the Madres de Plaza Mayor? I hear its a must see. Perhaps I've missed it, but what vecindad (neighborhood) do you live in? I'm been reading up on them and want to be able to place you in some context. Type to you soon.
bah, why so ordinary? Bland, Bland, Bland!!! I think I am having more fun at work laughing at Doug T's horrible haircut, think mullet in training. Hmmmmmmmmmmm, well, o.k. maybe you are having a more interesting time galavanting around South America while us non-traveler types pf3 our way into oblivion. Sounds like you are having a blast learning all about a new culture and experiencing it first hand. The dog doo sounds really nasty to me too, but the staying inside and having sex for the months of August and September sounds like fun. Oh the things I can say not that you are no longer my boss. I always wanted to ask you to help me with my Climax, just to see your reaction. Climax, if you didn't know is one of our suppliers. I'm still thinking about trying that line at work, but then the conservative side of my brain takes over and I don't.
I did finally manage to sent a message to Kyle H, and he quickly resonded with some helpful lacrosse info. I think I'll post the picture of you, me and Stephanie on myspace for the world to see.
Glad you are having fun and getting some sun.
Mike
