Fantastic You lucky lucky geezer. It all looks fab mate. Love the fire extinguisher in the back of the cab. Fills you with loads of confidence hey ??
FYI. My golf is still shite....Man U beat Southampton in the Cup 2-1, so they move forward. Stephen played in his cup game yesterday and won 2-0. They are now in the last 8. That's out of 150 teams, and I'm still playing vets football (that's not with animals smart ass)..Wife said it's like watching football but in slow motion !!!
Keep the blogs going mate, the family are loving it. Stephen couldn't believe that you had a bed on the train and I'm just thinking what I could do on a bed like that on a train !!!!!
All the best pal...Sean and family
Oh, India Loved the Thoreau comment and the general tone...plenty of authors have been paid advances to write lesser works...great idea the travel log...I can feel the dust in the throat mate. Am starting to think where I can meet up with you on the trip...Taiwan is not so far away...Steve
Start of the big trip Great to read your newsy blog. Glad to hear you are enjoying all the experiences. Look forward to reading about the next chapter. Just back from a week in Bulgaria skiing with 5 other lads. Lots of skiing (though not as much snow as we would have liked), and lots of beer intake...all in all a good trip.
Arriving in Delhi Ian, Glad you arrived safely ( having seen the many reports of driving in India this is by no means an amazing first step). Cant help wishing I was with you on your amazing adventure. Wishing you all the best Adam
Well done Happy days mate. Well done on completing the first leg of your journey. Enjoy all the new sights and watch out for them lady boys!!!
One famous motto that served me well during my time in the British Army, especially when posted overseas.
"Sleep with one eye open son" and " don't drop the soap in a public shower"!!!! ;)
All the best mate
Sean
Have you peaked to early Hi Big Bother,
Your opening blog was a belter. Well written, pleanty of pathos and no shortage of wit. This coupled to plenty of adjectives painted a most glorious, technicolour picture. I'm glad I'm enjoying the tour by proxy and that you're there safe and sound. However, most concerned at weather you can maintain the quality of your blog. You've set the standard now!!
Take care
Little brotherXX
Enjoy It was great catching up for lunch with you today, Going to be strange not being able to pick up the phone to arrange a game of golf with you over the weekend or for just a general chat.
Enjoy your 5 months of travel mate. Your going to love every minute of it and I'm very envious that I'm not coming along. Looking forward to regular updates and photo's. Keep cool mate and keep safe.
Regards
Sean and all the family.
