Greetings from Waterloo Hi Ian and Marlene
We are living this winter vicariously through your experiences. Yola and I are thinking of taking our boat south next winter and so watching your blog. When you get back in the summer we would really like to get together with you and discuss some options that we may have in terms of preparing the boat and also getting it down to Florida. Have a great sailing season and a wonderful Christmas.
We look forward to your blog Susan and I were thinking that if you go home through Buffalo we are in St Catharines about 60 kms from Buffalo. Stop in for a night, free meal will await you and breakfast. You would have your own ensuite and would be glad to see you.
Our address is 4 Dixie Road. Let me know and will give you directions.
been there Hey Ian and Marlene..we had lunch at that pier in St Petes..on the upper deck..had to fight the gulls for the
food...sound like you are enjoying the west coast..love the pix....we hope to get away mid Jan...keep in touch
and safe sailing....Bill.
Christmas Invite Hi there, wonderful pictures! You should publish your blog - it would be good reading with all your experiences and the interesting people that you have met along the way.
Would you like to join us for Christmas Dinner!
Be lovely to see you.

Merry Christmas Dear Marlene and Ian, I find your travel blog just fascinating. I love the pics and anecdotes. So incredible about the tug boat knowing your family when you were at the lighthouse Marlene.
Good luck finding mooring and happy trails north.

Were jealous Sounds like a great trip and that you are enjoying it.
Marlene I didn't know that you were from the Sault. I have a best friend that was a school principal there until he retired, by the name of Laird Cowel. Would you know him?

Feel the warmth! Great to get your latest photos and stories! I'm just waiting for snow so
I can cruise as well...no sign yet, just rain. Spending a lot of time
in TO. Keep flying with spirit!!!!
Great to hear that you are on the water again. The weather down here (Hilton Head) has been much warmer this year and we are enjoying a lot of golf, sun and the beach.
We have driven over the Sunshine Skyway bridge several times...I think it would be interesting going under it.
Enjoy reading your blogs...keep them coming.

Bergs and more bergs Hi Marlene and Ian,
I think that Newfoundland rolled out the icebergs for you! I wouldn't have thought you would see so many this late in the season. What does this say about what's happening to the Arctic?
Glad you are enjoying yourselves. Thought you would like Fogo. I hope you get over to Change Islands too.
Enjoy!
Judy
great shots Hi you two,
Your shots of Western Brook Pond are fabulous! I read the McCartney concert review in The Globe on Monday and knew you two were there experiencing it all first hand - and was so envious!
Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip through northern peninsula!
Best,
Judy
Wow! Great Pics Guys! And love the commentary. Who's the clever craftman? What an awesome adventure you two are having. You look so loved up and tanned. haha. Carry on carryin' on, maties! Enjoy the rest of your journey. May it be a safe and blessed one. Love from across the ocean. Judy
