Well Sherry and Hal, I feel like I have been with you on this trip through Europe. It has been a real treat reading your wimsecal (sp?) tales and while looking at your beautiful photos, oh the ones of Europe were lovely too :)
I believe you're home now, so I hope you had a great flight and a warm homecoming. I'm looking forward to seeing you up at Nancy's cottage next weekend and hope to hear about the stories you couldn't put on the web - oh ya baby!
Love and hugs,
Jo
I love Paris too! I enjoyed reading your blog, I was in Paris this past week as well with my husband and 7 year old daughter. I loved loved loved everything about it. It's a city all of it's own full of rich history. I felt like I was in a movie. Unfortunately we missed the fireworks on Bastille Day, but by chance we did see the French President and get him on video! It was pretty incredible and what a wonderful surprise. Thanks for sharing! I'm so excited to update my blog this week about my trip!

There's not place........... ............. like home. But a marvellous adventure you have had! And it will be with mixed emotions that you return.................. but we will be so glad to have you both back.
And I will miss this blog!
So, once home, would you consider starting another???

WOW!! I have just read your full blog. I wish I could have been with you. You looked and sounded like you had a ball and I know I would have laughed 400x more than I have in the past 2 weeks. Your pics and comments have gotten me mildly excited about our trip to Paris leaving this Friday from Montreal. I hope the we have half as much fun and excitement as you clearly have had.
Thanks for sharing - you are truly a remarkable couple

Sleep well.

Well I guess every trip must have it's aventures. Fortunately things are back on track.
Lunch at an outdoor cafe in Paris - wow! A dream of mine for sure. Maybe one day!
The Eifel tower looks huge!!! Not sure I could go up there.

Jo

Shrinkage! I know, shrinkage!! Dear David..................
Don't you dare feel that you must respond, at least, to me. You are entertaining me, and others, and are trying to leave your usual responsibilities elsewhere. So, Hal, I appreciate the thought. Sherry, this is not a web-posting warranting a thoughtful or provocative response.
Just enjoy!
I am/we are! :-)
You have been to many places that I have not.
Tomorrow, you are arriving a favourite place. Our flat was in Old Town, surrounded by the markets, and the high-walled buildings. I am not sure where you will be staying........ perhaps on the Promenades des Anglais (overlooking the smooth-stoned beach of the sea).

so pleased I have been following your blog and am so pleased that you are enjoying yourselves..the pictures definately reflect this...your blog is very enjoyable..keep smiling and stay dry Sherry
Smellavision The canal ride looks breath-taking............. but breath-taking surely has a new meaning if your boat was swamped.... you poor things?? But what a grand story to tell! Here's to little packets of laundry soap.... or hotel shampoo, or whatever works.
The setting does look so romantic...............
Just so you know, you have me hooked: I check several times a day for your next entry! P.
