Too Funny I totally forgot about the guy at dinner. I remember almost losing my own meal, I can't believe you finished up as others were leaving. I'm just going through and reliving China. Thanks for the memory.

Home Sweet Home Ok, we were a little slow to find out about and then check out the blog but now we'd like to offer our congrats on making it home and transitioning into parenthood well. Let us know if you'd like a meal! Otherwise, we're looking forward to seeing all 3 of you...and we'll keep you in our prayers.
Aminah's Mommy I'm glad to hear you made it home. I know that the added trip to Hong Kong seemed like a good idea at the time but I know that Godfrey probably had the same thing I did in China and I just wanted to get home. Sarah is adorable and she looks like she is enjoying being at home also. I think Aminah knows she is home now also. It is amazing what our girls have gone through and that they are adjusting so nicely. Every once in a while Aminah's "spicy girl" side comes out but basically she is happy and healthy. God is Good.
Welcome Home! Great to have seen you three even if for ever so briefly. Emily and Hannah loved checking out sleeping Sarah. Until October when we'll meet again.... at the Mouse's House!! :) Love, Cez

welcome back!!! After a year of waiting, after months of preparation, after weeks (or maybe days) of packing, you finally have Sarah (or you can say Sarah has you :) ). It must be good to be back home now. I just can't wait to see her face to face. I'm really, REALLY, REALLY happy for you!!!
Showing off Sarah I was checking in with you guys online at Marvin's new office open house and was touched by the absoulutely adoreable pictrues of Sarah being Sarah (very happy most of the time) and was showing everyone the pictures on the screen. We're all pr--ing for here at home!
a picture is worth a thousand words His timing is good and perfect. Such precious photos of a singularly indescribable moment. Grace poured out on us...love you all..all 3 of you!
Awww...Dad!!! What a Dad...nuff said. Thankfully our Father is NOT like that. He doesn't just see us get hurt and leave us (ok, no more guilt trip! I know she's fine...and if you feed into it, well then you're raising a drama queen!). Can't wait 'til you're all home!!! Maybe I'll even hit the cell in the AM while we're driving up to camp!!!
Simply...AWESOME!! Sarah is simply Awesome, adorable and a real cutie!!We can't wait to see you guys upon your return. You guys look like the perfect family. The photos are heartwarming and so precious!! Thanks for sharing your life experiences with us.We will pr...for your health and safe return!!
What funny stories I really enjoyed reading your stories with Sarah. How she gets her little bumps and bruises, sleeping issues, etc. We were pretty bad about letting Austin cry to sleep at night, so we would hold him until he fell asleep in our arms (Wes started that bad habit) AND when we transferred him into the crib (usually successfully), if he started crying again, we would pick him up and the whole process would start up again (talk about spoiled!). Sometimes, it would take over an hour to get him down, but no worries, Austin doesn't have any sleeping problems. As a matter of fact, he goes takes nap or to bed on command without any problems. Sarah has continued to bloom over the very short time she's been with you two. It's so amazing so see that bond form so instantly. She looks like a very social child and will adjust so well into her new environment. she'll like meeting everyone at where you work. I like those little games that she plays with you as she makes herself crack up. Isn't it so funny when kids just keep doing the same "funny" thing over and over and laugh so hearty afterwards? You end up cracking up because she's cracking up and then she cracks up some more because you are- now that's a good catch 22. I have enjoyed reading your journey through China. We can't wait to see you when you get back. Happy trails!
thanks for sharing! I have so enjoyed reading abut your travels and adventures as new paretns. Brought back so many memeories of our trip....we, too, stayed at the Y Salisbury-same view as the Pennisula next door, but 1/3 of the price! G even blessed us with a 12th floor room with a harbor view! And yes, you all got that "china cough"-we had it too and it was pretty stubborn-just to warn you! Looking forward to meeting Sarah. Will pry for safe journey home.
YMCA Hotel I think we stayed at the same Hong Kong hotel when we adopted Naomi. Isn't it in a great location? Convenient for walks by the waterfront to escape the claustrophobia. Taking the ferry to Kowloon would be a great side trip, if you can find the time. See you soon!!
Mew mew Godfrey, she is your perfect daughter - a cat lover!!! Too bad majority doesn't rule in your house... I'm still hoping one day sweet Sarah will introduce Stace to the joys of being owned by a cat... hee hee hee. Miracles can happen, right? Someday Sarah will bring home a kitten as a Mother's Day present and Stacey won't be able to refuse it from her Ah boo boo. Hee hee hee... Safe journey home! See you at the retreat (ha ha ha ha).
praise the L every new blog i read still fills me w/ that same sense of joy! ah, i am just so excited and happy for you guys...i DEFINITELY can't WAIT to get home and meet sarah and see you guys again!
