Thermal Pools It is a tough life but by gosh someone has to do it and so it might as well be you! Great photo. Looks like you planned the perfect trip. We can't wait to see the salt flats and the flamingos.
Food food food Foods make the world go around. Thanks for the food blog. I'll be reading many more of your past blogs. We loved Peru and we loved the food. Love your take on it. Keep those thoughts and impressions coming.
Sensational! What a fantastic account of your food in Argentina! I've only just stumbled upon your blogs, and I hope that you do/have done a similar food post on other countries. Safe travels :)
Plenty of comments about the beard - mixed - just not through the comments board.
It´s beginning to be a bit of a food hazard so will need a bit of a trim but for now it stays.

Hi Tommy,
People do some very strange things when you point a camera at that them! We wanted an interesting photo with us all in it. Luckily its a train track with no electricity and only one train a week so we were quite safe. Lots of love Mark
Hi Mark, just in from Wednesday night cinema - saw a Swedish film 'We Are The Best' about some teenage punks which was sweet. Thoroughly enjoying your blog. That trip into Bolivia sounded amazing. Cheers Nige
Hi Nige,
Now in Sucre - a beautiful city. So far so good for Bolivia. It´s a very different vibe from Argentina and challenging my Spanish a bit more, but neither of these are bad things.
Hope all is good with you.
Best
Mark
No photo I'm afraid Torbs. If you are interested you'll find some pictures by googling "maam Salta Inca boy". If you're really interested it might be worth searching YouTube for the short firm about the children's excavation - you might try "1999 llullaillaco archaeological dig".

Thanks Stella, I´ve really enjoyed writing the blog. Fred was certainly a larger than life character and Antarctica the undoubted highlight of my trip. It´s great to know I managed to communicate some of my enthusiasm.

I don't have many memories of Mendoza. I was the wine festival and recall waking up on the floor of the bus station with a little kid rummaging through my pockets like a wild animal tugging at a carcass.
Happy days eh? I have managed a to avoid anything quite as dramatic. Although safe to say that watching the rain fall as I tried to resolve the issues thrown up by the transport strike was not a holiday highlight.
Spending 5 months travelling to Antarctica and then in South America. Still thinking about what I want to get out of this blog...mainly to share with friends and family back home and to make impose some discipline on myself to make sure I record the highs and lows of travelling. Current biggest concerns - how to match the high standard of photos from other bloggers and make my travel map visible to followers!... full info
