Sweet! Eya,
That's awesome you are in Panama! I totally went to the Miraflores locks as well when I was in Panama on a layover! It's way awesome how the ships pass! In Brazil Now! I am so far behind on my blogs, we are actually in Brazil now. Hopefully I will catch up soon! You are welcome to add me on Facebook if you like, things are a little more current and I have tons of photos up!
It's cool you were able to see the locks on a layover :-) I want to go back too, we didn't see enough!

Parents, Child, Control Well, perhaps the kid is just spoiled. I just hoped the parents wont get into a huge trouble because they cant seem to handle their child well in public places. That would be a sad ending. www.yachts4fun.com
Your hospital visit sounds like it was a bit anxiety inducing! I can so vividly picture it. Rick and I are enjoying reading your tales. I'm impressed you were able to write a note to convey your need at the hospital. The spanish lessons must have really helped!
From JAPAN! Dear Eya
Hi!!Tammy taught me the thing of your trip.
That's great!
Did Spanish and salsa become skillful?
I’m looking forward to getting to know your trip.
Take care of yourself.
And Merry Christmas!!
From KUMIKO in Japan
Kumiko! Hi, it's so good to hear from you! My Spanish is a little better but I still need to learn much with salsa too but it's so fun! We hope to come to Japan at some point, I would love to see you if we could arrange it! Merry Christmas!

I have truly enjoying traveling and look forward to seeing so many more places. Thanks for the complements, the people here can't believe I am 29, I'm thankful I still look young! Anyway Merry Christmas!
not a chicken! Dearest Eya~~~ anyone who packs up her life and ventures forth can not call herself a chicken! thank you for the wonderful pictures your words paint. After reading this post we googled Semuc
Champey and looked at the images to imagine where you are, it looks amazing- the color of the water! I said to Rick that you are almost more with us now that you are a continent away.
We got 7" of snow last night on top of the 8" that was already on the ground. It seems like all we do is move snow. Although yesterday we got the motorcycle packed up on the little truck trailer and over to your parents house. We ate pizza with them. We're purchasing a property in Northern AZ, it is still in escrow. We feel like we should have left Idaho a month ago. Thinking of you so much and enjoying your blog posts. I know how much time and effort goes into the writing. hugs and hugs and hugs from both of us.
You make a good point! Ha ha Isabel, even though selling everything I own and quiting my job of almost 11 years was a bold move I guess it doesn´t seem to overshaddow all the things that scare me but you make a good point!
You speak of pizza....aaahh how I want a pan crust peperoni Pizza Hut pizza! I have ordered pizza since I left twice, the first time it was terrible and the 2nd time it was decent but thin crust and I so love the buttery crust of the pan style pizza at Pizza Hut.
I´m also a bit sad that I wont be sledding at uncle Rick´s this winter. Sorry for you guys that it creates so much work but soon you will be in AZ in the son!
I am so glad that you two are enjoying the blog. I can´t wait to get photos up even though they don´t do any of the places we have been justice. Thank you google!
We found you Hey Eya. It was good to her from you guys last night. Your mom sent us a very nice Christmas card with your blog link so now we can follow you around. Be careful. Keeping you two in our prayers.
I´m glad you found the blog, have you found Dan´s blog as well? He is a much better writer than I! Hopefully we will have pictures up soon too. Miss you guys!
Dogs Hey Eya...thanks so much for including me in your blog post! Great to hear from you and to read of your adventures. A thought on the dogs....the food that wild dogs need is more than likely raw meat....corn and other grains are not a natural food for wild dogs....and many domestic dogs have issues with grains and corn additives to their food. Perhaps, if you can find some, raw meat would be something easy for them to digest and part of their normal diet. Cooked meat is good as well, however, the cooked bones can be pretty harmful, as they can really shred their intestines/stomachs. I have done a fair amount of research on this, as I have a domesticated dog that has some pretty severe stomach issues....she does really well on raw meat and raw bones.
Hope you are enjoying every minute of a great adventure.
Cheers to you for a festive holiday out of the country!!!

Thanks for the info, I will look for raw meat next time. We are in Antigua now and I haven´t seen any stray dogs, it is a rich city. So glad you can enjoy my blog!
Loving your blog and missing you.... Ate lunch with your folks and R worked on T's computer. She mentioned she had sent you photos of the property in AZ. R suggests you ask for the local remedy for the bites. While in Chile I used a lotion made of lettuce! For some silly reason the portion about the toucan brought tears to my eyes and I had a hard time reading it through out loud with R. We send you so much love.
I am 29 and just started the adventure of a lifetime; backpacking around the world! I worked for an accounting firm for nearly 11 years and decided it was time for a change. I grew up in Spokane Washington enjoying hiking, biking, fishing & camping. I have the most wonderful parents and friends, people I truly love. God has blessed me with much to be thankful for :-) ... full info
