Your descriptions of the glaciers are very moving and I understand what you mean when you say that you would have liked to spend more time there just to contemplate. The world and its exquisiteness is breathtaking and you have to make the most of the wonders that you are seeing. Problems with my phone, but hope to get it sorte4d out on Monday. Off to Marbella for a choir concert in the old church. xxx
Chile trip planned for 10/29-11/9 We were looking for some "real" information for travelers. We were planning to fly south from Santiago on the 31 but it sounds like it might make sense to reroute the whole trip through Argentina now. Thanks for your post!
Chile or Argentina Hi Wendy
The situation continues to look unstable in Chile, although it looks as though internal flights are now resuming. Our flight home (UK) is from Santiago so Plan A is to return to Santiago, but like you we will need to keep an eye on the situation. On the bright side, we are really enjoying Argentina and everything appears to be about half price compared to Chile!
