:) Glad things are better for you, although having a cold isn't optimal I'm guessing its preferable to dysentery. Sounds like and amazing experience so soak it up :)
Oh Em! You really do have the worst luck, medically, but I'm so glad you're feeling better! You know I read on the internet that they used to treat some bacterial form of dysentery by making patients eat camel or sheep dung because it contains some sort of antibiotic... so I guess it could be worse... ? But by the sound of your ordeal, I don't see how... :( I've been thinking of you lots, I even spent a good part of the weekend playing Heroes in your honour... now if only I could find my Prozac CD... I love you! Feel better soon! And P.S., there is NO such thing as a bad 80's action movie... not even the ones with Steven Seagal in them.... <3
Emily! Reading all this stuff makes me miss you and wanna talk to you like I never really have. Y'know what I mean? It feels like we should have swapped a few stories here and there by now.
Anyway, I'm proud of you also: MERRY EVICTION-FROM-YO-MAMA'S-WOMB day.
Be well.
Love-love-love,
Aly
Happy B'day!!!! AN early HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! FInd some peptobismol if you can...but don't take it for more than two days if it isn't helping because it could have you hold onto the toxins. What a miserable way to spend your b'day. But it does sound like you are seeing some wonderful things and meeting some really nice people. Can you post photos?
Love >M<
shit man food poisoning is no fun! I'm glad I didn't get it hospital bad. Did they put the vaccines straight into your arm or the iv? If it went through they iv maybe they have some kind of valve system in place that makes bubbles not be a problem. I'm pretty sure that "bubbles=bad" is like the first thing you learn in "administering vaccines 101" anywhere.
handtowel Yeah, you definitely want a hand towel...even a tea towel works well...dries more quickly than a thick towel. It soudns like it is lovely there, Emy!
Hugs! >M<
your blog works I'm just glad my big brother was around when I was packing to leave the first time.
Never had there been a more appropriate moment in my life for someone to quote towlie from south park.
Still doesn't stop me from forgetting a towel when I leave Nanjing though.
