So we've made it to chiang Mai at 713 am after our 10 hour train ride and boy we are tired. Small seats like the plane but it was air conditioned freezing they gave us blankets although they were to short for our height. The seats reclined but w little to no leg room sleep for us was in short supply. We are now going to the flower festival a 5 minute walk from our guesthouse. Phew!we made it! After the longest plane ride of our lives we were very excited to arrive.we took a taxi from the Airport which cost us 800 baht (we got had big time) the bus would have been 150 per person but we didn't know. Our cab driver mr.tat dropped us off at the end of khaosan road which is backpackers mecha, bustling win people stores and street vendors w fruit, meat on stick, and funny enough bugs dried and fried. It kind of had the feel tiny Thai Disneyland. Very fun. We showered off and went straight to get a fish foot massage and mAngo and sticky rice.
