Colourful frogs Me too, they were stunning. Not cheap, obviously. I've kept the brochure so I can think about getting one in the future. If it won't break the bank it could be your present for the year.
For some reason I have never considered the fact that ginger factories must exist. Sounds like it was right up your alley. Nice to find something so unusual! I'd love to have sampled some of the products.
Gorgeous Amphitheatre Yes, it looked lovely next to the lake. It seemed quite new as the stonework was all still gleaming. It would be nice to see a play there.
misty mountains It was a lovely sunny day but there was a little bit of mist off in the distance over the mountains, not enough to stop you seeing any of the view but just show as hazy on the photo - it looed less so to our eyes, of course.
Wooden dragon and friends It was so much fun looking around the town to see what they had. Most people didn't even look up and Dad thought I was crazy taking so many photos but I enjoyed it. Like 'Where's Wally' but better!
Seniors Meals Oops. Having a Senior moment. Forget to add that some places offer discounts to Seniors, including some pub meals. Others only discount to Pensioners so I wouldn't qualify.
Seniors Are Us Seniors in Australia are people who are over 60 years old and work less than 35 hours a week. Dad is now an Aged Pensioner, too! He's ancient. He says he's 65 years young.
I am a mature (aged anyway!) woman, married with 2 children, a daughter, now 29, who is living in England, and a son who is 25. I was an English language and literacy teacher in a community centre in Melbourne, where I live but am now sort of retired (temporarily at present). I originally came from England, where I met my Aussie husband and then moved to Australia to marry and raise my family.
I love travel and enjoy hearing about new places.... full info
