So nice to hear from you, Myrna. I hope you are well. Your post made me think of one of my most favourite books ever, 'A Fine Balance' by Rohinton Mistry, which is about how it's possible to find happiness in almost any situation. It's a st
ate of mind, as Shiva the yoga instructor repeatedly says. Happy 2017 to you, too!Sent from my iPad

These 'collections' that you do - umbrellas, spices, shoes, bobbles - are among my very favourite. I stare at them for a long time. I find them very soothing and interesting at the same time. What an eye you have!

My first thought was, "Well, it's about time." It has always been VERY apparent that you are a writer. My second thought was, "How very brave." Don't think about writing a book. Just put down your lovely, articulate, expressive thoughts
as you always do and at the end of the trip, compile them and BLAM! - there's your book.So proud of you. Hugs.

Congratulations on your announcement for your book writing. What a great opportunity to commit to such a labour of Love. Your writing is amazing as shown here and in previous travel blogs. Your writing allows your readers to feel as though
we are travelling with you. I know your book will captivate your readers in the same way. Fabulous photos Jim you capture the true presence of life itself . Thanks for sharing
