London, Sunday 2 July, 2006 Monkey and I did some sightseeing today. First stop was The Natural History Museum. Not as good as I was told, but their earth sciences sections were very good. For a country that neither earthquakes nor volcanoes, the museum has the best exhibitions for both that I’ve seen. Monkey still hasn’t seen any close relatives in any of the museums or zoos we’ve visited. Let me mention the London heat wave again. Today was 35 degrees Celsius, which is 95 Fahrenheit. After the museum, we wandered around Hyde Park. During our walk, we stopped at the Diana Memorial Fountain, which was basically being used as a wading pool.
