Just found the blog from facebook. It's hard to imagine the culture shock that you must be in. But I suppose it's beginning to wear off by now. Will you and the volunteers often have retreats, or was that kind of a one time thing? I guess you can't very well go visit the others without transportation of your own. Anyway, the text is really interesting and the pictures too. Make sure you keep both of them up, because it will be a great thing to have in the future. I hope you're keeping a journal.
I'm just hanging out here at GA Tech. Classes are meh. I'm 1/3 of the way through my first round of tests. So far very hard and kind of enraging. It's hard to be away from home and Emma in particular. Probably nothing next to being over in India. Anywway, I'm glad things seem to be going well. Good luck and keep the posts coming.

SSSS A few pat downs and a back rub? The (un)lucky few with SSSS - Selected for Secondary Security Screening - usually get a complete empty of their bags and a full body search. Did you get off lightly!! Keep smiling!
thinking of you David, It is so good to hear from you. I've been thinking of you since you left - especially when I compiled all the NOAH stuff :). Miss you tons - your blog is amazing, you are a terrific and entertaining writer. Don't lose faith in what you are doing. Some of the greatest acts in this world were done by the hands of people who continued their tasks even when there seemed to be no hope at all - I didn't say that ps. I'll put something in the mail to you soon. If there is anything I can do to make this experience better (from half a world away) just tell me. You are such a great example to all of us. Are there regulations to what I can mail you?
