Just an excuse! Dave,
Don't think for one minute that I believe you have gone off on a year long travel adventure across the other side of the planet enjoying country to country when really you are on a secret mission for all us Marillion fans to find the ultimate gig location ;)!
Glad you made it safe and sound to your first of many destinations, stay safe and enjoy.
BTW: - Any ultimate sites found yet? ;)!!
Does whatever a spider can... ...looking forward to the pictures of you wearing your spiderman mask whilst dancing on the bar table to Kayleigh... underneath your umbrella... ella... ella.... must have been a good night... hope you were wearing more than just the spiderman mask though... it would be a bit soon to get deported just yet!
Rainforest David - we are all jealous of your fabu trip - you write so well, it feels like we are there with you. A quick tip - you might want to tuck your pants into your socks when hiking the rainforest... it keeps leeches and other nasties off of you. I cannot wait to hear your next blog! Enjoy.
Hi Liz, how are you? The weather's awful here, it's the rainy season and so far I've been caught in 2 thunderstorms! Just got soaked on the way back to the hotel! Miss you lots and take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
On the phone now to your mum and just read her your blog. She's glad you're there safely and wishes you a great time, says look after your possession! and loves you lots. xxxx
Nightmare! Sounds great! At least you got all the bad luck out of the way at the very start of the journey and the extra luggage allowance means more treats for us saddo's left behind and looking forward to our summer holidays in sunny South Wales....hope the next stage goes more smoothly.
Hi there! Oh David! What a nightmare already! How are you going to cope without your PSP!!! That's even more important than your sleeping bag! I think you're going to have to sellotape everything to your body in future :-)
Hope the weather's okay over there - still grey and rainy here
Now don't lose anything else for a few days at least. Missing you lots already.
Liz xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Don't leave behind your sense of humour or your spirit of adventure....but do leave behind your worries and your stresses! (oh, and don't unpack the travel plug! :o)) Take care of you, David, safe and oh so happy travels...Jo
Unreal. Will keep you posted on boring suburban life of 36 year old mum of 2. Will escape vicariously thru your blog updates. Stay stafe and have a wicked time. x
Hi David
Sorry I missed you before you left. I too am insanely jealous, but hey I am off to see the superbikes next weekend so that totally makes up for it!!!
Have a great time and take care.
Monday morning Blue! Not something you'll have to worry about for a year a guess!!
Have a great trip, keep in touch, stay safe, listen to Marillion every day!
oh and have fun!!!!
Paul
