It is shocking to see that the people of Cambodia face challenges people in America would not even dream of. The country is immensely poverty stricken. The GDP per capita in Cambodia is $2,709.94, compared to America's of $43,680.67, being 15 times as large as Cambodia's. It is insane to even imagine living on such a little amount of money. The life expectancy of people in Cambodia is 65 years, which is not surprising considering one of the women said that many people "have not seen a doctor in their life". Without the medical care they need, it is self explanatory that the life expectancy is shorter, considering many people die due to disease because they can not seek proper medical assistance.
