very cool description Hey I have lead walking tours around Varanasi for 8 years with a university and now just set up a small business. The walks are not really for people like you, who have a desire to get into the thick of it on there own, but there might be others out there who wish they had a expatriate 'local' to show them a few hidden places. Unfortunately for them (and fortunately for me!) it comes with a cost, but then again doesn't everything in Varanasi.
Rand, Sand, Seedi, Sanyassi, bacche raho to sevai Kashi! (Widows, Bulls, Stairs, Sadhus... to get to Heaven/Kashi/Varanasi... then avoid these things!)

Love to read about places I always tried to get information about tourist places & through this site i realy get to know about the places & makes easy for me to decide where to go ho to go .
Hello fellow traveller, I really enjoyed reading your blog and found it highly amusing. I just had the same experience in Ranthambore, although I drew a line at riding on a motorbike.
But luckily last year one of the tigress had cubs so they were easer to spot. So my journey ended quite different and I saw four tigers.
Happy travels!

Thailand? I have heard through the rumor mill that you have recently taken a trip to Thailand. Is this true? If so, when will you be putting the details of this trip on your blog? All of your other entries are just so facinating, and I can't wait to hear about your most recent adventure!
Anxiously waiting,
Your biggest fan
mountain scenery You've taken some spectacular photos. I'm imaging just how indescrible it must be to experience this scenery in person. It seems from the journals that you're making the right kinds of acquaintances along your trek. Soon you'll be speaking 12 langauges and claiming friends in 40 nations. -Cheers
Very interesting I LOVE to travel - but have 2 young children to raise right now, so I live vicariously through travel blogs. I stumbled upon yours and it has been very interesting and entertaining. I look forward to reading more of your adventures!
