Amazing adventure As you say the numbers of temples is nearly unimaginable even after seeing them. Such beauty and grace. Thanks for the fantastic photos
re: very cool Yep, it was like stepping back in time, seeing how life was when we lived in a handmade world. I didn't even want to blink because there was so much to see and absorb.
Nude Cashew I'll be your nude cashew and offer myself up to you! Please write an entire book about Burma. This piece encapsulates only a few moments and I want more! Love from your Nude Cashew. xx
You encapsulate it perfectly! If this blog doesn't turn people's minds about El Salvador, I don't know what will. It was so gorgeous there, such a piece of paradise. Such a lovely place to draw! I'll treasure our time there.
great post! Bronson!
What a plesant surprise to know youre writing your experiences here in central america...Now I understand more when you mentioned to me that San Salvador felt safe! hahahha
I love your post, your experiences and also...OMG Caroline´s paintings! if I would have known..i would have ask Caroline to paint something for me...but I guess it´s not that late...she can still do something for me in El Zonte and have it here in San Salvador for the hostel!!!
cheers!!!

She's a talented girl! Hola!! Yes, Caroline's paintings are fantastic and I feel privileged to be able to see a new one every couple of days. Our excellent stay in San Salvador was really because of you, so thank you for going to so much effort to help us and also for spending time talking with us.
Such a well written blog! I love the immediacy of your voice, Bronson.
I agree, Little Corn really was a little piece of paradise. I loved that we wandered around it on tracks - no roads. That it was so tiny so we felt like we knew it after only a day. That the locals were so friendly, greeting us on their short journeys around the island. It was so relaxing it was impossible to feel guilty for doing nothing!
I'm so glad you've captured it in writing forever.
A perfect day in the life of a backpacker This day really was complete and perhaps my favourite so far. It's so good to meet really great people and I am still dumbstruck I spoke Spanish for 24 hours!
Brought it all back I can feel the sticky tropical heat sucking against my skin once again. The wild life in Costa Rica was astounding, but I did not love those mosquitos on the Caribbean coast!
I love the bit about the jungle hovering over the ocean edge. Another well-written blog post by Mr Valpied!

Seems lovely, how can i get to stay in teh same place? Hola! That was a really nice entry. I am myself travelling south to the area around Temuco, and got interested in staying in a nice homestay. Do you have any contact information to this particular one? Do you know if Silvana accepts people who are not part of the spanish course?
Please respond to my email: nilsotto83 at hotmail.com
Thanks!

Retracing your steps. Backwards. It's so fun to hear extra details of your trip. I can't wait to get to Copacabana with the others, it's going to be so much fun! You are truly lucky that you had such a great group to travel with. I like your sidetracking!
WOW! What a journey! And it must have been hilarious with Felix in tow. I thought that most of BA was descended from Italian stock? Didn't realise the Austrian connection. The description about Lolla was my favourite bit - what, no alcohol?? Weird and terrible. You met so many wonderful people in South America, it sounds like a total blast. Hopefully it will be again when you come back!
Paz Ah this sounds like a lovely place. A bit like the one I'm in now - there are tourists, but no backpackers. It's usually just me for lunch because others want to see the sites and I'm content to read and watch, blog and draw all day. I look forward to hearing more about this time.
