How quickly it feels it's gone Hi Dad, Looking forward to seeing you soon. I've been quite impressed with your blogging skills. It's also been fun to read up on what you've done and I'm sure it will be a great reminder to you about what you have done in the last couple of months. Have a safe trip home and see you soon. Love, Alicia
The Toe Lib, Fran has been a real trooper and despite the extreme pain, has managed to try on 2 or 300 pairs of shoes ;)
Kath, the slide show will be a marathon all night show, I think.
not the broken toe! Sorry to hear you weren't fussed on Vegas, must have been a real let down. You poor thing Fran, that toe must have really hurt, then the flu on top of it, hopefully feeling better now. Enjoy your trip down the coast and veg out in Hawaii.
Can't wait to catch up and watch the slide show!! Kath x
Fishermans Wharf I went down there to Fishermans Wharf today, Lib. Certainly is a hive of activity! It was sans Fran, cos she was laid up in bed and wouldn't let me stay w her (typical!) Took her 2 doctor this AM. Rest is best. She kicked her toe 2nd day in Vegas, making it difficult to get around, even now, it's the one she broke b4 so she's been in the wars lately.
Glad to hear from you All messages from home will read the same. Its freezing here and raining most days, soooooo - should it get hot in Hawaii - make the most of it. So sorry to hear you got the flu Fran.
New York sounds like such a buzz, I dont think anyone dislikes it, but your report and photos were great. Keep them coming. Have some Chilli n bowl down at Fishermans wharf to warm you up. Loved that place.
Female of the Species It actually premiered in Melbourne a coupla years back. My hearing aids are playing up so I missed a bit, but Fran loved it.
Hope you had a great birthday. Roberts was yesterday. Bastille Day. Luckily we'll be back in time for Sue and Beth's birthdays.
Love to you all.

Yes Dad - no points for spelling. It's the Sacre Coeur which means Sacred Heart in Montmartre!!
Cold in England? It's pretty cold in Perth too. I've just got back to Perth after a week in Darwin where we had days of 31 degrees! Thanks again for your birthday sms - Love you. Enjoy your trip.
Sunny England Apparently England received their whole months rainfall on the day after we arrived Naturally!
Lib headed off ok and we delivered the car back to Peugeot. Will miss that car. We can certainly recommend the Peugeot, especially the way you can fold the side mirrors in whilst driving. That came in very handy a couple of times.
