As a 50 year old woman, I will be watching your blog with great interest. I have travelled through Europe, U.S. and parts of SE Asia but not to Africa.
Are you travelling solo? I intend to travel to Egypt , Jordan, Syria and Turkey (maybe Israel) next year...solo.

An ageing female traveller ! At 68 years, I am working hard to beat the horrendous increase in insurance fees on reaching age 70.
In October, this year, I am going from Kenya to Egypt via Ethiopia & Sudan - arriving in Cairo around Christmas Day. Don't suppose I will ever take such a long journey again, although I love travelling in Africa & have visited Tunisia, Morocco, Senegal, Mali, & Ghana to date.
This trip promises to be demanding but includes visiting some of the most interesting countries & sites in the north of this riveting continent.
