tour place in jammu & kashmir This holiday package promises a little bit of everything. Thrilling drives in the rugged mountains, breathtaking beauty in the barrenness of the landscape and a slice of adventure with stays in tents pitched at the most picturesque locations...Ladakh is a memorable destination. The Nubra Valley is dotted with monasteries while Pangong Lake changes colour with the passing hours of the day.
Toy Train Journey from New Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling - A great lie The tourist mentions journey by toy train from New Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling. But that's a lie. The full service stands closed since many years now. How could one travel from New Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling by defunct toy train ?
Toy Train Journey My visit was in the year 2008;then toy train was running from NJP to Darjeeling-It was a awesome journey.Recently it is closed due to some terrain problem-hazards.But its unfortunate because this journey was one of the best in India.
Travelling to sikkim Hi Nayana Borah, Liked your blog. You probably have given us the minute details of your journey. I also wish to travel to Sikkim in month of July. Mine will be a solo travel from Guwahati. I wanted to know if one travels alone will it be too much of a costly as compared when going with family. How does the city treat a solo traveler. Thank you
Sikkim-Season matters A lone traveler is not a problem at all so far as people there are concerned. Infact its good you can travel of your own wherever you want but month of july is not a favorable season. It won't be that pleasant and landslide problem persist in that season. From the end of Sept. its more preferable. If you are going for trekking or bike ride,it will definitely be bit costlier otherwise its okay because you can club with some groups.Do visit tourism centre in gangtok for further details when you reach there. They can guide you very well..Also i suggest you to visit Lachen valley and gurudongmar lake.
