Sadly this was to be the last entry in Ben's blog. Our beloved Ben departed this life on 24 December 2005, aged 24 years. He lived life to the full, and we cherish the memory of this radiant soul. Martin, Jenny, Joe, David and Simon
We have enjoyed reading all your blog journals. It's the next best thing to travelling with you, and really lets us share the great experiences you are having. Joe has been enjoying mango lassi in your honour! Keep well, and we look forward to seeing you back in UK very soon.
Love, Jenny and Martin
- Stay in the spirit world for as long as possible!... it's much better than the materialistic jargon enveloping the world today. And this is coming from someone who is a die-hard computer/Internet junkie! - Sama
hoorah! Ben my dear sweet brother! It is so lovely to read your journal, please keep the new installments flowing, I bet you are creating such a stir in your family, how brilliant to have relatives to party with. I wish I could come out and join you, you are really making my long for India again. So sorry we didn't have proper goodbye. It feels quite strange that one moment you were my housemate and now I am hearing your news from accross the world.
Loads of love and blessings to you.
p.s. try the telephone directory - thats how I contacted baha'is when I was in Kerela - Poppy
Hey! Did you get dreadlocks!? i can´t believe it, you look so ready for the adventure. If not i´m sure you´re anyway ;) Wow i can´t believe you´re going to india, what a great adventure, with the colours, and the teas, sometimes sleeping rough and be more grateful than ever to see the sun, sometimes setting out without knowing how or where you´re going, yet always finding your way, eating things you couldn´t imagine, doing things you can´t even dream of and surprising yourself at every turn, and the culture... So different from ours. All the opportunities you´ll have to be a gift to those people, indeed, what a gift is being sent to them! I cant imagine you being in a better place at this time =)
May you always have faith,
Angels protect you.

"Come my friends, it is not too late to seek a newer world, for my intension holds to sail beyond the sunset.
And though we are yet that strength
Which in old days moved earth and heaven,
That which we are, we are
one equal temper of heroic hearts.
Made weak by time and fate
But Strong, in will, to seek, to strive, to find
and not to yield" - aLeJaNdRo
