Very interesting Peru, always an adventure! Thanks for your update and many pictures.....it was so interesting to read of your experiences. So glad your injuries were not worse. Praying for your safe return.
Oh Andy Its okay Andy, Spencer and I about fell over laughing when mom told us about her "incident" unfortunately the bump wasn't as conspicuous as I would have liked ;) I'm glad to hear that you're doing better and I'm sorry about your camera! I look forward to hearing all about it!
Manual Lopez Manuel Lopez called here on Tuesday. Emily had to talk to him because I could not speak Spanish well enough. He was asking when you would be arriving and said that he was looking forward to seeing all of you. Hope the bus trip goes well. Glad to hear everyone got to Chiclayo safely. You are in my prayers. Take care and be safe.
I'd like to be in Chipe for that one!! When we first showed these people pictures / videos of themselves, it was the firs time they had ever seen themselves in that medium! So cool!
Remind Greg to NOT SHAVE!!!!!
Love you guys -
safe trip! Hi Andy!
Jim just informed me about your trip. I am still in shock that you are staying in a place without a 5-star hotel & room service. Just goes to show that everyone grows up sometime. :) I will be praying for your safety and that this will change your life in ways you never expected.
I have a sweet friend who is with Extreme Nazarene Missions in Iquitos. Her name is Laura Benson and she attends our church. She went to SanDiego State but we love her regardless. Had I known sooner, you were going to Peru, I would've had you buy a box of Thin Mints for her. I hope you will find her. The Extreme missionaries have some challenges that concern me. I will tell you more later when I know you are getting this message. I have some ways you can invest your disposable income!
Take care of yourself. The B family is praying for you! Love, Yib
